Other mistake: One of the shots of the aftermath of the battle is played in reverse - e.g. the smoke from the fires is going down. (01:41:20)
Other mistake: While laying the pipeline toward the ocean, the pipe is being joined so that the female end flows into the male end. The male end should flow into the female end.
Other mistake: Just before the second period against the USSR, we see a couple of shots of the benched Soviet starting goaltender Vladislav Tretiak. His hair is dry and combed, and there is no sign of perspiration, despite having just played the whole first period. After the game is over, we see a shot of the Soviet players watching the Americans celebrate. This time Tretiak's hair is wet and his face is sweaty. Shouldn't it be the other way around (i.e., hair is wet after playing one period, then dry after sitting on the bench for two periods)?
Other mistake: When Leo X is hunting a wild pig, a poem is recited which mentions a boar (at least in the german version). But while the pig is running you can see it is a sow (from its longish nose). After the pig is hit, you can even see the teats. In the next shot the sow is supposed to look like a boar: It now has the characteristic big teeth of a boar.
Other mistake: While the Trojan warning gongs ring, in the shot of the citizens when they run past the guards to return to the safety within the walls, there is something stuck to the left side of the camera (it looks like a long piece of hair), which flickers on the screen as the camera continues to pan in closer. (00:35:30)
Other mistake: When the USA soccer world cup team is practicing in New York, on some field in Long Island, in several shots you can see the steeple for Union Avenue Christian Church, which is actually located in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Other mistake: When Kitty reads Michael's letter from England to Harry, there's some strange smoke arising from behind their chairs. (01:19:40)
Other mistake: In all scenes where the submarine is running on the surface the surface search radar is rotating CCW (viewed from above). All surface search radars rotate CW.
Other mistake: Just after Grandma Willow says "There's still some snap in these old vines," John Smith puts on his bag, but he just presses it to him instead of putting it over his head.
Other mistake: In the ending credits, Gary Carter is listed twice.
Other mistake: When one of the Christians is being crucified and burnt, we can see that just after the man's "death" the body is substituted by a plastic doll covered in red paint.
Other mistake: In the scene where Mel Gibson is playing AFL with his fellow soldiers during training in Cairo, we see him wearing a digital wrist watch when he whistles and raises his arm. (00:49:30)
Other mistake: Early in the film, before they were signed to a record deal the Doors were playing small clubs around L.A. in 1966. After one of these gigs, a promoter comes up and asks Jim Morrison how old he is, in which he replies "21." Morrison was born in 1943, so the youngest he could have been is 22, not 21.
Other mistake: When Chowfa jumps from the wall to escape he injures his shin in a way which looks impossible the way he falls. (01:29:00)
Other mistake: During the battle in the cavern, the (almost) bald Indian Warrior helping Ghost is stabbed by a Viking and dies in Ghost's hands. When Ghost kills the Viking and continues on, you can see the Indian Warrior still breathing. (Timecode refers to the European Extended Edition). (01:01:55 - 01:02:55)
Other mistake: During the scene when Pilla is killed there is a sniper on the roof of a building firing an AK-47 at the vehicles. If you look at his hands you'll notice they are caucasian. The other Somalis are black. (00:46:25)
Other mistake: When Marcela and Howard are viewing Seabiscuit for the first time (when he's weaving all over the place) it looks like it was done before as Seabiscuit follows a thin ribbon of disturbed ground that is weaving in and out. Its unlikely any other horse would be weaving like that.
Other mistake: When the Musketeers are charging the firing squad at the end, they only have about 20 yards to run which they should cover in just a couple seconds, but somehow it takes them much longer to reach the other men. This is especially noticeable since they're running at full speed. (This has nothing to do with editing or slow-motion, as most of the shots are shown in real time, at regular speed.)
Other mistake: When Anne and Peter are looking at the stars, Anne points to a star and Peter knows what star she's pointing to. It is impossible to point to a star and have someone else know exactly what star you're pointing to. Try it.
Other mistake: It's raining when Nameless and Sky are fighting (rain is dripping off their swords and is on Nameless' face when going towards Sky in slo-mo), but their entire bodies never get wet.
