Other mistake: As Anne is about to be executed for adultery she begins recalling the important events of her life since meeting Henry VIII. She counts each of the wooden stakes numbered "100 Days" and recalls various events involving she and Henry. There should be 10 to account for the 1000 days but there are only nine. (02:13:00)
Other mistake: When Nitti (Billy Drago) kills Oscar in the elevator, not only is there not nearly enough time for him to write "Touchables" on the wall, but the writing looks like it was done with the aid of a ruler. If he had actually written it in the minute it took the elevator to reach the bottom floor, it would be smeared all over the place. (01:06:50)
Other mistake: During the Battle of Agincourt, the same shots of soldiers being killed are used several times. Most noticeably there is one poor French soldier who dies from an arrow in his back at least twice.
Other mistake: During the hill climb up terrain shaped like a valley with rocks on either side, a soldier is directly hit with a large explosive, probably from the big guns, and his severed head lands down on another soldier's back, who is crouching to help another man. When the head lands on his back, it is just an empty helmet, but when he looks at it on the ground, you see the partially alive, severed head lying next to it with much of the neck still attached.
Other mistake: When George is in the basement, his son starts walking down the stairs. Suddenly a light bulb shatters right next to the boy's head, he screams, and falls violently down the stairs. But when it cuts to George coming over, he's just walking at a normal pace as though nothing happened. (This is just after they move in, before the evil spirits take hold of George, so there's no reason for him not to be alarmed.).
Other mistake: In the scene where Chris O'Donnell is going to rescue the two damsels being chased, he dismounts from his horse that is already tied to the cart and ties the horse with the other rein.
Other mistake: During the scene of the attempted coup at the SS ministry, several officers are wearing heavy winter coats and gloves. The action takes place on July 20th.
Other mistake: When the astronauts are in front of the space craft and have reached terms with the scientists, Carpenter whistles then waves the press in. One of the pressmen says "Look, Glenn's waving us in!", he should have said Carpenter. The astronauts were all very high profile persons in the press and would be easily identifiable and the press members were top notch professionals so it is not considered a character mistake. Other mistake: In the scene where Mel Gibson fires off a few rounds into the nearby woods and bushes to see if there are any NVAs, there is a M60 crew, the weird thing about them is that you can only see the muzzle flame from the M60 the first couple of rounds - after that there is no muzzle flame, but the M60 continues to fire at the same rate.
Other mistake: The movie starts with scenes from a battle between Romans and Sarmatians. For a few seconds, we see a (very dark) shot of a warrior holding a severed head in his hand. That very same shot is used later in the battle between the Woads and the Sarmatian knights protecting the Bishop. Director's cut only. (00:01:05 - 00:08:30)
Other mistake: Schindler is having the glass door of his office lettered. The style and size of how it is done changes when the one armed worker comes to thank Schindler as he eats breakfast.
Other mistake: In the earlier part of the movie (at Corregidor Philippines) where Japanese warplanes are bombing the field camp, it can be seen that a warplane approaching its target can be seen with no bomb attached underneath, and yet an explosion takes place on a targeted machine gun position. The action scene is repeated minutes later, this time hitting the escaping and running soldiers.
Other mistake: After Jesus is taken down from the cross, he blinks for a moment.
Other mistake: When the milk truck tips over, look at the wheels on the trailer - they're cocked to the left so it can slide without flipping. (00:22:30)
Other mistake: At the end, it states "Clarence Dickinson became a 'Real' Admiral..." instead of Rear Admiral. (02:04:17)
Suggested correction: I just had the chance to watch the movie again. It says "Rear" not "Real" as alleged in this entry.
I watched just now and my version also shows "Real" rather than "Rear." Perhaps this was fixed only in some releases.
What version did you watch? I see "Rear." Perhaps a screenshot is needed.
Other mistake: When Apollo 13 lifts off, you hear a voice saying something like 'Houston we have cleared the tower at 13:13'. However, when this is said the Saturn V rocket has nowhere near cleared the tower.
Other mistake: The end credits list the cast in order of appearance, but the order of the cast list is completely inconsistent from how the characters first appeared in the movie. (02:36:45)
Other mistake: In the attack on the jacales outside the Alamo, a Mexican soldier is shot and crawling on the ground. Crockett asks him his name just as he dies. Later at the Battle of San Jacinto, the same soldier is shown sinking below the surface of Peggy's Lake as a Texican strangles another soldier with his musket.
Other mistake: In the Watertown police shootout scene, a resident tosses a sledgehammer to the police to help them in the fight. Right when the resident throws the sledgehammer from their front door, many frames are entirely missing from the movie for some reason, which results in an awkward skip. This is seen in all cuts of the film (Blu-Ray, Digital, etc).
