Continuity mistake: In the battle scene at autobot city, Megatron orders Soundwave to jam the transmission that Blaster is sending to Optimus Prime. When Soundwave ejects Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage & Ratbat we see them flying through the air transforming simultaneously and and both Rumble & Frenzy are coloured the same (red & black) when Rumble is supposed to be purple. Continuity mistake: When the matchmaker grabs Mulan's hand her palm is shown to be covered in ink. She then unwittingly paints herself a goatee. However, immediately after this she grabs the teapot's handle but no ink rubs off onto it. The ink miraculously disappears from her palm as well.
Revealing mistake: The stepmother's arm disappears for a split second when she tells her daughters that there is still a chance for them to become the princess.
Continuity mistake: In the episode 'The 525 CrackerVac' the vacuum cleaner malfunctions (as usual) and Gromit challenges the device like in a duel. The scenery changes to orange like in a sunset and Gromit stands with his back towards the window. On the window sill you can see a cactus. Wallace is in the room near the door. The vacuum cleaner explodes and covers Wallace in ashes/dust. Wallace suddenly has the cactus on his head (also covered in ashes) and judging by the fact that there is a clean area behind Wallace on the wallpaper in the shape of Wallace with a cactus on his head he must have had the cactus on his head before the explosion, but we know he hadn't as the cactus was standing behind Gromit and Gromit stays clean after the explosion, so the cactus couldn't have moved. How did the cactus end up on Wallace's head?
Continuity mistake: When Bernard and Bianca arrive at the airport, and wait for Orville, Bianca removes her coat. Yet when we see her through the window, her coat has reappeared and it then vanishes again. (00:25:15)
Plot hole: There's no way that Eddie and Nana left the flooded theater without getting a single drop of water on them. The water flooded up to the ceiling and there's no other way to exit besides the front doors, and Moon's secret exit, which also floods. They do not leave through either way.
Factual error: Johnny shows Mavis the sunrise by keeping her back in the shadows. But if your whole body is in an object's shadow then you can't see the light source. The rising sun is reflected dead center in Mavis' eyes, which means the sunlight is touching her, which means she ought to be on fire.
Plot hole: The newspaper headline showing young Alex being rescued from a crate is dated April 8, 1972. In the next scene, we see young Alex dancing in the Central Park Zoo, and watching him are Marty, Melman and Gloria as baby animals. This makes no sense at all. In the first film, Marty celebrates his tenth birthday. Key word: tenth. It is also known that the scenes of the main characters as adults take place in the present i.e. Alex confessing to breaking Marty's iPod. Seeing how the animals age quicker than humans, Marty, let alone his three friends, would have to have been born in the mid-1990s and the flashback scenes could not have taken place in 1972.
Revealing mistake: When Ratigan is sneaking up on Basil inside Big Ben, there is a shot where both characters have their backs to the camera. In this shot, there is a piece of equipment directly in front of the turning gear they are standing on. This piece of metal can be seen to flicker for a few moments.
Factual error: In the beginning where Tooth is sending her fairies to various regions, she sends a few to Moscow, stating that there are "22 incisors and 18 premolars" that need collecting. Premolars are not baby teeth; they are permanent adult teeth. (00:06:10)
Continuity mistake: Whenever Megamind or Minion uses the disguise generator, their normal eye colour always show through their disguises, such as when they both disguise themselves as the Warden (the Warden has blue/gray eyes while Megamind has green and Minion has brown). However, during the final battle, Minion disguises himself as Megamind but he has Megamind's green eyes instead of his normal brown eyes.
Continuity mistake: In the scene at the Rangers Station, the tuning dial on the radio disappears and then re-appears.
Continuity mistake: At the end when the sled full of Christmas stuff is on the mountaintop, it starts sliding off the edge. It's going fast enough that it should be long gone by the time the Grinch reaches it, but when he does it's still right near the top of the mountain.
Other mistake: When Timon meets Rafiki for the first time, Rafiki is hanging upside down, yet his beard is not affected by gravity and remains pointed upwards.
Other mistake: When the Pirates are arrested in Nineveh, another soldier walks up to Jonah and knocks him out with a fish. When this happens, Jonah is wearing the Cheese Curl hat. When he comes to on the Slap of No Return, he is wearing his turban again. Would the soldiers change his hat?
Continuity mistake: The scene where Col. Hathi inspects his troops, he leans on his stick and it breaks. However, in the next scenes, the stick you see is sometimes broken and sometimes it is still complete.
Continuity mistake: Nick's necklace is a string looped through a ring, but sometimes the string makes only one pass through the ring and sometimes two.
Continuity mistake: One of the tiles comes loose when Wallace is walking across the ceiling in the museum. A few seconds later, the tile is flat against the wall again.
Continuity mistake: In Dark Heart's cave, when all of the Care Bears are locked away in cages, one of the star buddies tries to pry open a cage's lock with its right arm. But as soon as three of the trapped Care Bears are released, the star buddy's left arm appears mangled instead. (00:55:55)
Plot hole: As shown when Robin comes under the influence of Slade's mind control device, the hypnotized people retain their abilities and higher intelligence, just with a loyalty to Slade. That being said, when Slade hypnotizes all the DC heroes, Superman and The Flash are among them in the theater. Slade orders all the heroes to chase after and destroy the Teen Titans. The Titans take off on foot with the others running after them and are able to keep their distance in a big chase sequence. Superman and The Flash never use their super speed to over take the Titans, which would have been so very easy.
Suggested correction: Not really though. You see you can stand in the shadows but still look at the sun. No one actually does but it is possible.
A shadow is caused by something blocking the sun. If you stand in the shadow (i.e. you are no longer casting your own shadow), you can not see the sun. Think of lying on the beach and someone stands over you in such a way their shadow is cast over your head. The sun would be blocked from your view. You obviously would still see all the scattered light, but the sun would not be reflected off your eyes.
