Chosen answer: It seems to be a custom version of "Yo Ho A Pirate's Life For Me", maybe increased tempo.

Question: In the scene when Celie is first brought home with Mister there are three kids waiting outside. Harpo and two sisters. No one ever says their names and after the hair combing you never see them again. What happened to them?

Answer: It is never explained what happened to them in the movie, but in the book they marry and move away from home. Neither character is ever mentioned by their name in the book or the film.

Answer: Just what he said: it would set monsters back hundreds of years. Monsters are harmless, sociable creatures in this world yet humanity fears them. To kill a human would justify humanity's fears and set whatever progress monsters may have made toward being accepted in the world back hundreds of years.

Question: What was in the picture that Batman gave to Rachel, and how would it have sped things up?

Answer: Pictures of Judge Faden with a woman who was not his wife, to be used as leverage to force him to hear the case against Falcone. A deleted scene shows Bruce gathering the photos himself but only the top one is shown in the final cut.

Question: So if Frank is Elizabeth's boyfriend we can assume they've met before right? Does that mean when Frank takes off his mask during the Evil Dead screening Donnie recognises him? Does Donnie now know who Frank is, or does he believe he is just some random guy from the future?

Answer: Frank and Donnie have never met in the film. There were many near brushes where they could have ended up meeting, but as one of the Manipulated it was necessary for Donnie not to know who Frank was so that later on he would not hesitate to shoot Frank in the eye. This is complicated when you recognize that Donnie does see Frank in the movie theatre. But right before we meet the still-alive Frank, Donnie whispers "Deus ex machina" which is a plot device whereby a seemingly unsolvable problem is suddenly and abruptly resolved by the contrived and unexpected intervention of some new event, character, ability or object. Donnie understands at that point what he has to do. If he had known before that Frank was Elizabeth's boyfriend, even this understanding might have caused him not to shoot, which in turn would have cause the Frank-ghost to disappear. That would have been detrimental to the film, since as the Manipulated Dead Frank-ghost had the job of pushing Donnie into doing what was needed to return to an intact timeline.

Question: Is it likely that Dewey would have been subject to charges for the death of Judd Stewart? Although the failed plan technically wasn't his fault, the reason for it happening in the first place certainly was.

The_Iceman

Chosen answer: Highly unlikely. Dewey's negligence is not a direct cause of Judd's death, as Judd had every opportunity to decline the mission. Judd's family could bring a civil suit against the train company and Dewey personally for wrongful death but even that is a long shot since Judd assumed the risk.

Question: While they are being chased by wolves, Anna uses Kristoff's lute to strike one of the wolves. Did she really aim for a wolf, or was she actually trying to hit Kristoff for misjudging her? In other words, was hitting the wolf just an accident?

Answer: She was aiming for the wolf. Hitting Kristoff was an accident.

Answer: Ted was using his real hands to control Father Jack's wheelchair using a remote control - the fake arms were so no-one would see him cheating.

Question: Whose baby pictures and a couple of older kids pictures are on the refrigerator in Doug and Carrie's kitchen? Can't be Deacon and Kelly's of course and there's no one else on the show for nieces and nephews since they took off Carrie's sister! So who are they?

Answer: There's actually an episode of KoQ (2-9) where Doug asks Carrie the same thing. As both have no clue themselves. Doug tells Carrie to throw the photos out. Carrie says no, as friends might visit and notice they're taken down. This scene was added into the show, after similar questions from fans. Most likely, the photos are of kids of the writers, producers and/or relatives of the cast.

Answer: Carrie's the one who wanted to throw the pic out but Doug said no. She agreed, reluctantly, so she covered it with a magnet.

Chosen answer: Drax explains to Bond that he stole the shuttle (built by his own company for NASA and on loan to the UK) because one of the shuttles in his fleet going to his space station developed a mechanical fault.

Sierra1

Chosen answer: Phasers fire nadion particle bursts or bolts, which are fictional but are presumably similar to photons, and would therefore have mass and kinetic energy - so depending on the power output of the phaser, it should impart a not insignificant momentum change.

Sierra1

Chosen answer: The Bangles.

Question: As far as I can tell, Damian visits his mother at her apartment and says she can't stay here on her own, but she says no, she's not leaving her home. Then we see the mother in hospital. But then Damian is told that his mother died in her home and wasn't found for a couple of days. But she was in hospital, wasn't she?

kh1616

Chosen answer: She was in a hospital but that does not mean she died there. She was likely discharged and, refusing to go into any type of assisted living situation, was sent home, where she later died. A person, unless declared legally incompetent, cannot be forced to go into a facility. Due to insurance regulations, a person can only stay in a hospital as long as they are being actively treated for a medical condition. Once their condition reaches a certain level, they are discharged-either to a rehab center, a nursing facility, or to their own home.

Answer: In the novel it's clear, that the hospital scene is a memory of Karras.

Episode #3.6 - S3-E6

Question: When Robert and Cora come to see the doctor at the end of the episode to hear his explanation about Cybil's death, who shows them into the room? It looks a lot like Bates, who hasn't been released from prison yet.

Answer: Although this looks a bit like Bates with a similar build and darker coloring, it is actually Lady Violet Crawley's butler, Spratt, who is showing them into the drawing room. They are meeting at Violet's house to talk with Dr. Clarkson about Sybil's death. Also, Bates was never a butler, he was a valet, and would never be the one to show people into a drawing room or anywhere else. Servants' roles and duties were strictly defined.

Question: When you look at the front of the house, the 2nd story is to the left of the front door. The stairs and the bedrooms are on the right. Also, there has to be a very high cathedral ceiling to account for the stairs which isn't shown in the front of the house photo. Does anyone know what the house looks like where the show was filmed?

Answer: There are a number of photos online of the Brady house's exterior of what it looked like when the show was being filmed and what it looks like today. Only the exterior shots were of a real house. The interior was a studio set and it did not exactly match the real home's floor plan. There are also some YouTube virtual tours of the house that explore the interior. If you Google "Brady Bunch House" you will find much information about this.

Chosen answer: No. There are small instances on "Star Trek: TNG" where Picard speaks French on board the Enterprise, without the Universal Translator altering it. Were he always speaking French, the Universal Translator would make no distinction when he was speaking French as a matter of course, or speaking French for a particular effect. In the episode "Code of Honor", Data refers to French as an "archaic language" on Earth, to which Picard takes umbrage. I suspect Data would have known if Picard were actually speaking French at the time.
