Question: What did Raphael mean with the Josè Canseco joke? I've been wondering for over 20 years.
Answer: Canseco was a star in the 80s, so a bat with his name on it would have been very expensive. Raphael is basically calling him a thief, probably because he doesn't look like he can afford it.
Answer: Jose Canseco had one of the best baseball careers, so anything with his name became priceless but it all came to an end when it was revealed he used steroids.
Answer: The Oakland A's with Canseco on the team won the World Series the year before this movie came out, while the New York Yankees and Mets both posted abysmal seasons. As a proud New Yorker, Raph was surely disgusted that Casey Jones would carry merch bearing the name of another team's star player, especially right after they won a ring! That's the behavior of a band-wagon fan, after all. It seems Casey would agree with him as well, as his response to the insult is not to defend Canseco or the A's, but to shrug and say he got the bats on a 2-for-1 Sale.
Question: I've got a question about the very end of the movie - since I have yet to read the graphic novel. Big Ben starts chiming midnight, and *then* Evey releases the cars in the tube to blow up Parliament. So, when Parliament is blown up, the calendar has changed. Is it then the 6th, or is it the 5th? It seems to me that if November 5th is the key date, then Parliament is destroyed on the 5th, but only seconds into. Just as the blowing up of the Old Bailey happens just seconds into the 5th of the prior year.
Answer: At the stroke of midnight, the date changed over to November 5th.
Question: How were Rachel and Jamie able to make the connection that Michael was Jamie's uncle?
Answer: It's never explained who told Jamie of her murderous uncle, but Jamie is mocked and made fun of by her classmates for being related to the infamous Michael Myers. She could have been told by her adoptive family, classmates, neighbors, etc, but the movie never provides any definitive answers.
Question: What does the ending of the movie mean? It has nothing to do with the 3rd movie like you'd think it would.
Chosen answer: The third movie was a prequel to the first 2. It was done to set up an explanation in case they made another movie that takes place after part 2, so her appearance after she died made sense.
Question: There was supposedly one episode that ended with SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs all laughing in a boat. The laughing then silences, eventually to a stop. Then SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs walk out of the boat, and Squidward eventually walks out too. Which episode is this?
Answer: I believe this is the Season 6 episode "Spongicus".
Question: What car is Gina driving at the end of the movie?
Answer: A 1966 Ford Galaxie-500 XL. There's a website that lists the vehicles used in the movie.
Question: When Cartman thinks his kidney has been taken, and he goes to the hospital to have it put back in, the doctor has him sign a consent form for the operation, which we find out later is a release form for Cartman to be Kyle's kidney donor. But since Cartman is a child, shouldn't his mother be the one to consent and agree for him to have the operation, not him? I'm asking since neither her name or signature is anywhere on the release form Dr Doctor pulls out at the end when Stan reveals the plan to Cartman in the recovery room.
Chosen answer: His mother could have signed a different release form, especially since she's in on the plan to trick Eric into the transplant.
Question: Bond was 12 when his parents were killed, and spent the next 2 years with his guardian, who taught him to ski, climb and hunt before his death. It is mentioned a few times that it happened 20 years ago, making Bond 34, but he's clearly much older - just wondered if I was missing something here.
Answer: It is mentioned that Oberhauser died 20 years ago. This could have been many years after James stopped living with him.
Question: What did Zeddmore mean when he said "This job's not worth another 5 a year" just before they cross the streams?
Answer: He says "This job is definitely not worth eleven-five a year! " Meaning that's how much the Ghostbusters are paying him, $11,500 a year.
Question: When Harry "dies" and talks to Dumbledore, why does Harry say that Snape is still alive?
Answer: What Harry actually says is "... And the snake's still alive."
Question: Why are there 2 swords on the plane with the bride?
Answer: Because they are being carried by the other passengers.
Answer: There are more than 2. They are positioned similarly and look similar to The Bride's. So, Tarantino is saying The Bride isn't the only passenger with a kill list. This is where Tarantino reminds us that this is an allegory with The Bride representing all good people seeking revenge against the evil people who wronged them. A common theme in Tarantino films.
Question: When the bank robber has his gun on the Joker, how does the Joker know that the bus will come in time and hit him?
Answer: The Joker has planned the robbery to the last detail and has a talent for knowing how people will react in certain situations, so he was able to position himself so the other robber would be standing in the path of the bus.
Murder House - S1-E3
Question: If all the people who were murdered in the house stay as ghosts, why does Hugo (Constance's husband) never show up again in the season? All of the other ghosts did.
Answer: Hugo did show up; he was seen having sex with Hayden (Ben's mistress).
Question: Whats the purpose to the Willy Wonka boat ride tunnel? I would say its a metaphor that what appears to be good has a dark side, which would explain how children appear missing or killed during the whole show. But it just seems like there's more to that in general. Mainly because of the faces of spiders and lizards, centipedes walking on dead faces, chicken heads getting cut off, Slugworth appearing on screen and Wonka singing a creepy ass poem. If this scene has some kind of moral lesson within "Don't judge a book by its cover" then please explain. I just think there's something more and I'm not seeing it.
Answer: It's another test of Wonka's. His factory (and real life) will definitely throw some unexpected curve balls at his future heir, so he set the whole thing up to see who would handle it best. If you watch, you'll notice Wonka flicking his eyes rapidly from one ticket winner to another, observing and filing away the fact that out of all of his guests, Charlie and Grandpa Joe are the only ones who seem to accept that they can't change anything about their situation and instead decide to just enjoy the ride...at least until Wonka starts singing. Honestly, though, who WOULDN'T look at least a little worried at that point?
Answer: It's to associate Slugworth with creepiness and bad things. If the kid still wants to sell the Gobstopper to him after that, Wonka knows they're not worthy of the big prize.

Answer: It might just be incidental music, but it sounds more like a variation of "Yoshi's theme" (an original score for the film), which was meant to sound like traditional Japanese music.
