Continuity mistake: After the opening title sequence, it shows Batman and a reporter tied to a giant bullseye target. She and Batman are equal distance from the center bullseye, and it is about waist level on her. It then cuts to a perspective from Batman's angle, and suddenly the reporter is much closer to the center, and the bullseye is level with her calves. Then when the giant pie is flying towards them, the center bullseye is level with her and Batman's feet. (00:05:05)

Continuity mistake: When the camera first shows Jimmy, he says "Where the heck have you been" and looks up to his left then straight forward. The shot changes to a close up and suddenly he is looking up to his right. (00:00:15)

Continuity mistake: Right at the beginning, the camera closes in on a baseball field. It shows several people standing and walking out in the field and just two standing up by home plate. The view changes to behind home plate and suddenly there are several superheroes sitting and stretching there, and the rest of the field is empty. Then after a shot of Jimmy Olson in the commentator stand, it shows a high view of the field again and the people have all changed again. (00:00:10)

Revealing mistake: When Miss Taylor transforms into Star Sapphire and is about to kidnap Carrol, the wind blows heavily and begins turning the pages of the photo album on Carrol's desk. The first few pages to turn show the exact same pictures over and over again. (00:13:55)

Continuity mistake: As the camera comes out so Lex can broadcast the death of the heroes to the world and beyond, they are standing with Cheetah on Lex's right, and Joker to his left. But then when the shot shows a large screen where the broadcast is happening, Cheetah walks in on his left and Joker is now on his right. (00:18:00)
Chosen answer: The rings represent what is called the "Emotional Spectrum". Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. Where Green is the representation of will, the Star Sapphires are given violet rings, which represent the emotion of love.
