Continuity mistake: When the diesel grinds to a halt and the camera switches to Duck and Stepney and then back to him, he is noticeably further away from the coaches.

Emily's Rubbish - S11-E2

Continuity mistake: When Emily and Whiff pull the rubbish trucks away, Whiff is coupled up to Emily, and Emily is coupled up to the trucks. When they pull them away, their buffers are separate.

Cows - S2-E2

Continuity mistake: Gordon's express train has 1 composite coach and 2 brake coaches when he passes through Wellsworth station. When he crosses the viaduct, he has 2 composite coaches and 1 brake coach.

Continuity mistake: Gordon can be seen next to Edward when Edward says "two big engines afraid of a cow?", but Gordon should have been on the turntable.

The Afternoon Tea Express - S17-E26

Continuity mistake: In the shot of Stephen at the dairy, one of the trucks is in the front and the other one is at the back. But in the shot when Stephen is out and about, the first one is at the far back and the other truck is at the front, but later, the trucks go back to their original positions.

Whistles and Sneezes - S1-E20

Continuity mistake: When Henry sneezes at the boys, in the shot of the boys with the smoke rising up, you can see that they already got ashes on them before the smoke had even touched them.

Saving Time - S20-E13

Continuity mistake: Sir Handel was just near the turntable when Samson approaches the Blue Mountain Quarry, but a few shots later, Sir Handel has moved to a siding.

Pop Goes the Diesel - S2-E12

Plot hole: When Duck and Diesel leave the shed, Diesel follows Duck instantly, but the tracks they are on both lead to the turntable. As they are on different tracks to each other, it would be impossible for Diesel to follow Duck that quickly as the turntable could only be set to one track at a time.
