Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: In the shot where Ganon looks up after hearing a scream, the stalagmite column Zelda is chained to, as well as Zelda herself, is facing perpendicular to Ganon’s bed. But in all previous shots and shots following this that show the column and Zelda, it is facing the bed. (00:11:50)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: After Zelda is first shown captured, Frog Link is crawling upside down on a bridge in Ganon’s lair. In the far shot, his hand is right on the edge of it. But when it cuts to a closer shot, his hand is nowhere near the edge and he is more towards the center. In the same set of shots, the stone division in the bridge increases. (00:11:30)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When Zelda tries to kick Ganon in the face, the stalactites hanging above Ganon's bed rearrange themselves, and the one hanging in the background behind Zelda suddenly multiplies. They all also change color. (00:11:20)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When the Witch of Walls emerges from the Wall Without End, the camera cuts to a close up and pans up her body, if you can call it that. Her hands change shape and her fingers are different in the close up than when she is first seen emerging from the wall. The ends of her sleeves also change from pink to a darker pink, almost purple. And several of the stone pieces making up her chest change shape slightly and some change color. (00:09:55)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When Spryte discovers the Wall Without End curves down and goes into the ground, the shot of her flying to the last visible spot shows that the last of the wall above ground is going down at a curved angle. When the camera shows a close up of where the wall and ground meet, that part is suddenly going straight down. Also the shape and pattern of the stones at the base corner of the wall changes between shots. The size of the bricks in the very last shot of the wall also changes. (00:09:30 - 00:10:50)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Revealing mistake: Once Zelda hears and responds to the scream of distress, she finds a three headed dragon about to eat the damsel. The dragon is waving its three heads around in a frenzy in excitement of its new prey. This is very poorly animated however. The layers of the animation overlap in several frames leaving a very distracting, almost ghost like trail of the necks that is not supposed to be there. It is not an effect of movement. And the necks are jerky in position, especially the one on the right. The dark and light scales on its necks keep changing too. In an instant, the dark scales on the back of their necks will switch places with the lighter scales on the underside of their necks, then back and forth like they are blinking. (00:01:20)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: Link blasts the floor under Ganon after he is trapped under a rug and breaks a hole in the floor, Ganon falling through. You can see the thickness of the floor extends down out of sight. But when it cuts to a shot below the floor as Ganon is falling, you see the hole from under and the floor is suddenly much thinner. (00:13:50)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: Once Link is returned to normal by Spryte's kiss, her draws his sword and fires a laser at a rug on the wall behind Ganon. It is on a flat wall and begins to fall, but the camera cuts to a closer angle and suddenly the spot directly behind Ganon where the rug fell from has a column in the wall. (00:13:40)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: After Link is turned back into an elf by Spryte's kiss, he stands up and draws his sword. Before he draws it, the shot changes a little to show the action. But several things change in that small cut. The handle on Link's sword changes up, his finger nails vanish, his left hand is suddenly balled up, and some of the moss on the wall behind him moves. (00:13:35)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When Ganon blasts Link to the ground, Link has no shadow when he lies on his back. A couple of shots later, he suddenly has a shadow. You can also tell he is now in a different spot on the floor by the cracks on the floor and the position of Ganon’s bed. Also in the same shots, the column that Zelda was chained to has moved over, and the walls and cave in the background have changed a bit in shape and color. (00:13:15)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: Link cuts Zelda’s chains and sheaths his sword. As he does, the red jewel on the hilt of his sword turns yellow for a few frames, then goes back to red. (00:12:30)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: Just before Link blasts down the door to Ganon’s bed chamber to rescue Zelda, the camera pans over to show the door. It then cuts to a closer angle just before he blasts it open. Between the two shots of the door, it gets taller, the lock board gets thicker, and the bones holding the lock bar get closer together. (00:12:20)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: After Ganon hears Spryte scream, he tells Zelda to not go away. In the side view shot, it shows her hands chained behind the column and her arms are close to the sides of the column at 90°, showing it’s a bit of a long chain for hand cuffs. It shows a close up of Zelda’s face as she smarts off to him, then a view directly of her hands behind the column, which shows them much closer together with a short chain. (00:12:00)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: The back of the Witch of Walls is shown in a few shots during her scene with Frog Link. When she first shows up and Link tells Spryte he will handle this, and then a few shots later when Link is talking about how he can't Zelda to kiss him, the designs on the witch's back are very different. The shapes and color patterns switches around. (00:10:35)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: As the Witch of Walls begins backing up to go back into her wall, the stones on her chest and stomach area change color and shape several times, all in the same shot. This is before she is in the wall so it isn't her changing to be part of the wall yet, as that happens once she stops moving. Most notable are the yellow stones on her stomach that suddenly turn pink as she steps back. (00:10:50)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: In the scene following where Link talks to the Witch of Walls, Ganon has Zelda tied up in his bedroom. The first shot showing Zelda, the tops of her boots are flat and level. But then it cuts to a close up of her that pans up from her legs and suddenly the top of her boots are pointed. (00:11:00)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When the scene starts where Ganon has Zelda chained up in his bedchamber, the first shot pans by showing the door to the room. It is a light brown with a single bar across the front. A little bit later when Ganon is taunting Zelda to give him a kiss, the door is shown again, but this time a much darker brown, with no bar, and a gold handle appears on it. The stones around the door also slightly change, and the moss hanging by the door becomes paler and moves away from the door, and the column vanishes. (00:11:00)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When Ganon's bed is first shown, it changes the second time it appears when he is taunting his chained up prisoner, Zelda. The bed is not as wide, it is thicker, the purple sheets change tint, and the spikes on the bed change shape. (00:11:00)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Revealing mistake: As the Triforce of Wisdom is telling Link to seek out the Witch in the Walls, Link still has the robe around him that he was using to hide his appearance from Spryte. As he speaks and moves, the part over his right shoulder keeps flashing and changing colors from the white of the robe, to the brown of his shirt. (00:09:00)
Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: The side of the rock that the damsel is standing by as the three headed dragon attacks her changes quite a bit on the close up of her. (00:01:45)
Chosen answer: Because they were technically the same show. The 65 episodes of Super Mario Brothers Super Show contained 52 episodes of Super Mario and 13 episodes of The Legend of Zelda.
