The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: As Ganon is teleporting around angry at the Moblins before he kills them, he stops just short of his giant evil jar and he has no shadow behind him, even though the Triforce of Power's podium casts a shadow. It cuts to a high angle and suddenly he has a long shadow behind him. (00:05:20)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: After the Moblins apologize to Ganon for failing, it cuts to Ganon's eye as he states that they will be sorrier before he kills them, and it shows them reflected. For the most part, the reflection is pretty close to correct, with the right and left Moblins being flipped to opposite sides and facing like a reflection. However the Moblin in the center is not a reflection, and the tale tale sign is his feet. In both shots, his left foot is hanging down lower than his right. If it were a reflection it would show his right foot hanging down further in the second shot. (00:05:25)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: While Ganon is teleporting around shouting in anger at the Moblins for failing to get the Triforce, you get a clear view of the Evil Jar in his lair. It has one face on it with some horns sticking out beside the head on each side of it with some distance between them. When Ganon strikes the Moblins inside with his lightning to kill them, the camera pans up showing the face again but now there are three faces on the jar, and the horns have gotten much thicker, coming out from right behind the head. Also the ears on the face change from being more elf like ears to resembling more like bat ears. (00:05:35)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Ganon teleports to his throne after killing the Moblins for their failure and it shows two column like structures sticking up from it. In this shot they appear shaped more like melted wax candles and droopy. When it cuts to a view from the other side after Ganon's close up, they look very different, with jagged edges like broken rocks. It also appears that his throne also becomes wider between shots with him having more room to sit. (00:05:45)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: As Ganon zaps the Moblins inside the Evil Jar with lighting to destroy them, it cuts to a shot from a distance by Ganon's throne showing the Jar. In that shot, the artist seems to have forgotten to draw the podium holding the Triforce of Power under the Jar as it has vanished. (00:05:45)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Ganon states that if he wants the Triforce of Wisdom, he's going to have to get it himself. At the end of the shot, he's looking straight ahead with his hand hovering below his face but not touching. It cuts to a further away shot and now his head is tilted down and his hand on his chin as he's thinking. (00:05:55)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: The shot from behind Ganon's throne shows a view of the walls at the base of his stair case. On the left there are some brown, thick stalagmites rising from the top of the wall on the left, and parts of them are drooping over the wall hanging down. You can also see on the right side of the screen that no such wall exists on that side and it opens up into a different path. When Ganon teleports down from his throne and is standing down there, the stalagmites and their hanging parts are gone. Also there is now an identical wall on the other side that was not there before. It also appears that the stairs coming down from his throne are more of a straight line shape now instead of fanning out. And lastly, the tall curved walls out in the middle are very tall, but in the other shot they are barely half the height they were compared to the other wall. (00:06:00)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Ganon starts putting on a robe as a disguise for the armature magician's contest. As he's first putting it on he grabs at his right arm with his left hand and in that shot his right hand is bent up wards at the wrist. But it cuts to an angle from behind him and suddenly his wrist is bent with his right hand down. (00:06:05)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: After Ganon teleports down from his throne, he states that there is an armature magician's contest in Hyrule today. He is hovering in the air and his hands each resting on his knees. It cuts to a side view of him and suddenly his arms are more crossed over each other before he puts them in the air. Also the curved wall beside him in the first shot is suddenly further behind him in the next. (00:06:05)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: As Ganon is yelling in anger at the Moblins, repeating the word "blast" over and over, you see the pedestal that the Triforce of Power is on sitting in front of the Evil Jar. It is shown as skinny and a solid shape. Then when Ganon is telling the Triforce his plan to join the amateur magician contest, the pedestal changes significantly. It is now shorter, has spikes all over it, and is fatter. (00:06:10)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: While Ganon is disguising himself as an amateur magician, he makes a throne to sit in. The back of the throne is red and black and has horns, very noticeable. As Ganon begins conjuring skeletons to hold up the throne, his back is flush with the back of the chair. However, in one close up shot, the back of the throne is gone. (00:06:35)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Ganon summons some skeletons to hold up his mobile throne so he can go to the Armature Magician's contest. As they appear, the floor is blue tile. But it cuts to a close up of their feet as their robes form and the ground has turned to pink tile. It changes angle again and suddenly it is a dark purplish blue, but with no tiles. (00:06:45)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: At the Amateur Magicians Contest, the first shot of the walk where Zelda sits in her throne shows a wooden piece stretching down from a balcony above the door to the top of the door. There are also windows to the left and right of her with a plant in them. A couple minutes later when Link looks out the window of his tower to see the dragon attacking Zelda, the wooden piece and the windows have vanished. The bricks of the wall also become fewer but bigger. As well as Zelda's stairs become shorter. (00:07:20 - 00:09:25)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Af the amateur magicians contest, there is a fountain in the court yard. There are some statues in the middle of it. But after Zelda screams and Link looks out the window of his tower, the view from above shows no statues in the same fountain. (00:07:20 - 00:09:30)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: One of the amateur magicians accidentally explodes a tomato all over himself and Zelda. The amount of tomato juice on Zelda changes between shots. Moments later, the tomato juice is all gone. (00:07:40)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: The magician that explodes the tomato is standing in front of the stairs that Zelda's throne is on. The view from her angle shows a black magician dressed in pink and purple standing beside him. Judging by the clothing, I will assume it's a girl. A few shots later after Ganon is heard laughing, the tomato magician and this girl turn around and you see them from Ganon's angle. Suddenly the black girl is now a white girl. She is black again in later shots. (00:07:45)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Ganon summons a bat to go spy on the Triforce of Wisdom to see who guards it. Watch his finger nails. As he is holding the bat, his nails are long and sharp. But when the angle changes, his finger nails look short and normal. (00:08:15)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Ganon is sitting in his mobile throne which has a red back to it. It is visible when the bat lands on his shoulder. But when it cuts while the bat is giving his report, the back of the throne vanishes. (00:08:50)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: The bat tells Ganon that Link is guarding the Triforce. He then aims his hands at Zelda and the perspective switches to showing her through his hands as he uses it like a scope to zoom in on the lizard in her hands. His hands are up for this, but the very next shot, his hands are suddenly back down on his arm rests, and he then raises his left hand again to blast the lizard. (00:08:55)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When the dragon first attacks Zelda, the stairs she is on are purplish pink. Moments later when Link is on those same steps, they have turned yellow and tiled. And plant pots and a small stone wall appear on the steps. (00:09:40)
Chosen answer: It'll be to ensure that they're always facing directly away from each other, 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock, meaning between the two of them they've pretty much got 360 degree coverage. Otherwise there's a chance they might end up at say 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock, leaving themselves exposed from another direction.
