The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Link looks out of his window and sees Zelda below, he places his hands on the edge of his window. His right hand is out in the light. It then cuts to a behind the shoulder view and now his right hand is up further and in the shadows. (00:01:40)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Zelda has on two red earrings at the start when she's standing on the balcony in her gown. When Link whistles at her, scaring the bird away, she turns and looks up. It cuts to an over the shoulder view from her to Link and her earrings disappear. (00:01:45)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: As Link looks out the window at Zelda, the ledge on the outside of the window has 3 lines going down it showing it divided into 4 stones. The shots from Zelda's perspective show it as one solid piece. The window is also skinnier from her view. (00:01:50)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Link whistles and calls down to Zelda, you can see the floor of the ledge she is on. The first part design has lines going towards the middle and several layering circles, and the center is just a circle. The part behind her just has lines going towards the center and looks like a pizza after being cut. Then the shot changes to a close up of her feet as she is backing up and you see the second design by her feet. There are now twice as many lines in the center. You can tell by the spacing between the lines between shots. The first shot, the spacing makes it look like there are only 4 lines. But the second shot shows 8. (00:01:55)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Spryte brings a robe out for Zelda, who looks over at the fairy from a side angle. That shot shows that her gown is still up over and covering her right shoulder. It cuts to a different angle before she puts the robe on and suddenly her right shoulder is exposed. (00:01:55)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Spryte brings out a robe for Zelda to put on, the ring of roses around her head changes, with there being fewer leaves, and the roses being more bunched up together and apparently more of them. The number and position of the leaves and roses is also never consistent through that whole scene. Sometimes leaves blinking in and out of existence as she moves her head. (00:01:55)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Link gets thrust against the window and held by a Moblin, the camera quickly pans down showing a brief shot of the Moblin's face with Link's hands. In that brief moment, there is an odd black circle, possibly a shadow of some sort behind the Moblin's head, similar to the old Icons put in religious paintings in older times. It then cuts to a different angle and this shadow is gone, and there doesn't appear to have been anything that would make that shadow in the first place. Also, it appears the Moblin is holding Link's arms differently between shots but the first glimpse is so fast and not showing enough for it to be conclusive. (00:02:10)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: As Link is watching Zelda walk away from his tower window, a Moblin reaches out from behind him and pulls him inside, the window then being shut. Link is then thrust against the closed window in the next shot, and now by comparing the size of Link's head to it, the window is now significantly smaller. (00:02:10)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When the second Moblin comes up and grabs Link by the feet, the flowers hanging by Link's window vanish from that shot, when they were there previously. (00:02:15)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: As the Moblins are holding Link so the third one can go for the Triforce, the Moblin behind Link is holding his arms. In one shot, the Moblin appears to have his hands over Link's wrists with Link's elbow extended out, the Moblin gripping his arm like one would a motorcycle handle. But then in the next shot, suddenly the Moblin's arms are curled around Link's arms the other way with his hand between Link's arm and back like one would hold a bar when doing pull ups. (00:02:20)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Link is about to throw a Moblin off his shoulders, in that shot a chair is beside his window. About a minute later when Link charges up his sword and turns to fire at two of the Moblins, this chair is shown again and now the back of it is much taller than previously. Also in these same shots the horizontal bars on the window shutters grow much thicker. (00:02:25 - 00:03:25)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: After Link kicks the Moblin away that was holding his feet, the Moblin that was behind him climbs up onto his shoulders (for some stupid reason), and is sitting on him like that holding his head. In this position his right foot and both hands are visible but his left foot is not, indicating it's behind Link's arm or just on his shoulder, covered. But then it cuts to a wide angle from the same camera angle and suddenly the Moblin's left foot is visible below it's hand on Link's chest. (00:02:25)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Link throws the Moblin off his shoulders towards his bed, and as it's flying through the air you get a quick shot of the table. It then cuts to a different angle just before the Moblin hits the bed, and now the table legs are suddenly much shorter, with it lower to the ground. Also the cup and pitcher on the table do the opposite and grow taller. (00:02:30)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Link jumps through the air and grabs his sword and pillow mid air as they launch towards him. He lands and turns to face the other Moblins, and his left arm is extended out straight with the pillow in hand. But it cuts to an angle behind him and suddenly his elbow is bent with the pillow raised up. Also his position by the window changes, with it showing the window a bit behind him in one shot, then beside him slightly to the front in the next. In the next shot again after the Moblin charges him, the window is fully behind him. (00:02:35)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Link smacks one of the Moblins in the face with a pillow and it sends feathers flying all around. The shot then cuts, still having Link in the frame, and now there are no feathers in the air or on the ground next to him. (00:02:40)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: One of the Moblins has a black spear, having a sharp black blade on one end, and a white skull at the other. But when he charges Link and fights him head on, suddenly the spear head is gone, as is the skull, making it just a black staff. (00:02:45)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Several times while Link is fighting the Moblins in his room, his mirror disappears. Most notably when he's one on one with the Moblin with the staff. (00:02:50)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: The Moblin that was hit with the pillow is seen standing next to the door in one shot with a mouth full of feathers. He is standing with a slight hunch and his head is bent down slightly. The very next shot cuts to him spitting the feathers out, but he is already leaning back to inhale between the shots. (00:03:05)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: During the fight with the Moblins, the one with the staff breaks the vases on the table next to Link's bed. This also causes the painting of Zelda to fall and break. A few shots later, the vase and painting are back where they are supposed to be and perfectly fine. Throughout the fight, the painting keeps changing from fixed to broken, and even how much it's broken constantly. (00:03:10)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Shortly after Link fights the Moblin with the staff, and the vase and painting of Zelda are broken, it shows the Moblin he threw at his bed earlier still under the sheet and struggling to get out. The Moblin is suddenly much further from Link's bed than before and is where Link was fighting the staff Moblin moments before. (00:03:10)
Chosen answer: Because they were technically the same show. The 65 episodes of Super Mario Brothers Super Show contained 52 episodes of Super Mario and 13 episodes of The Legend of Zelda.
