Character mistake: When the plane returns, the "F.E.R.S" sign on the side of the plane has changed to a "R.E.R.S" sign. (00:20:40)
Continuity mistake: When Haddock says "There they are" after the rescue, he is standing next to Professor Fossil and they are both standing at the end of the ship. As everyone starts cheering, they are standing somewhere near the middle of the ship and a scientist has suddenly appeared next to them. (00:20:30)
Audio problem: Tintin places part of the meteorite on the raft. When it lands, it makes a sound as if it landed on a wooden floor. The raft is made of plastic and has air in it. Not the landing sound you'd expect. (00:20:15)
Continuity mistake: The pilot goes onto a raft and looks at Tintin at a 12 o'clock direction saying "I can't get any closer". In the next shot, he's looking at Tintin in a 3 o'clock direction. (00:19:20)
Continuity mistake: The huge apple that crushes the huge spider changes size between shots. (00:18:55)
Continuity mistake: When the huge apples fall off the tree, half of them are red and half of them are maroon. As the apples fall on the ground in the next shot, all of the apples are red. (00:18:20)
Continuity mistake: There is a shot of the meteorite and Tintin jumping onto it. In this shot he is approaching 4 meters away from the meteorite. Yet in the shot after a crew member of Peary yells "Pull, pull", Tintin is then seen approaching 4 meters to the meteorite a second time. (00:16:00)
Revealing mistake: When Tintin emerges from his cabin, he starts yawning and stretches his arms. You'll notice that his arms go through the wall as he does this. (00:12:15)
Revealing mistake: When the Peary financier scrunches up a piece of paper after finding out the Aurora failed to be sunk, his cigar is seen going through his lips. (00:12:05)
Continuity mistake: After the Peary financier says "The Aurora will not reach the meteorite", the scene cuts back to the Aurora sailing through a storm. In this shot, the name "Aurora" is visible on the side of the side. Yet by the end of this scene, and the camera is in front of the boat, the name "Aurora" isn't visible on the front of the ship. (00:10:35 - 00:11:55)
Continuity mistake: As the boat sails through a storm, the boat's steering wheel is grey. The wheel becomes green as Haddock says "Shipwreckers!". (00:11:00 - 00:11:35)
Audio problem: The Aurora crashes into a ship. As Tintin and Haddock fall over, a glass related smashing sound is heard. There is no glass there to cause it. (00:11:30)
Continuity mistake: Haddock is handed the Peary's note with no crease in the paper. The shot cuts and the crease appears. (00:09:30)
Continuity mistake: At the start of the boat scene, Tintin stands at the front of the ship and gets hit by a wave. In the front shot, the wave is seen going above his head. Yet when the camera is behind Tintin, the wave is suddenly below him. (00:09:15)
Other mistake: As Professor Fossil is on the radio, there is a shot showing us him on a newspaper. Look at the words on the article. All the words on the article are fading away. (00:08:40)
Continuity mistake: The way the lamp in the observatory is bent changes between the shots where Professor Fossil says "Order 10 pounds of jelly beans" and the shot where he sings "We're going to the Arctic". (00:07:55 - 00:08:25)
Revealing mistake: Professor Fossil places the results over a lamp and says "I have never seen such a formation before". As he says this, Tintin appears on screen. He never walks into shot, he just appears on the screen out of nowhere. (00:07:40)
Continuity mistake: When Tintin wakes up, night is visible outside of the window. As the camera pans around the room, showing everything all cracked and destroyed, daylight is visible outside one of the other windows. (00:06:30)
