Revealing mistake: When Stanley doesn't make it back to the correctional facility in time and is locked out, it triggers his fugitive status for failing to turn himself in. Behind him and all through out the base, his image appears on screens along the walls like wanted posters. Only a little bit before as he is running down the hall trying to get back to the correctional facility in time, he passes by one of these screens and you can see this same image of him already on the screen but dim. Revealing that the production team already had the image set and ready to turn a back lighting on to reveal the image at the appropriate time. (00:34:00)
Audio problem: As Stanley is running towards the correction facility to not be late, there are several shots of the clock on the wall with the green bars ticking down. There is an audible tick every time a bar counts off. In one shot, we see it count down to having just 2 bars left, but it cuts back to Stanley running and we hear 3 clicks. When it cuts back to the clock there are still 2 bars left. Also in an earlier shot when the clock is off screen we hear more clicks than we see of bars having vanished when it cuts back to the clock. (00:34:00)
Continuity mistake: As Stanley is racing back to the correctional facility, it shows the clock counting down and reaching the last bar. Then the last green bar clearing with the face of the clock turning full yellow. It then cuts to a view of the guard at the corrections desk looking up at the clock, and suddenly it's back to one green bar and then turning yellow again. (00:34:05)
Visible crew/equipment: While the Holo Prosecutor is reading off Thodin's charges, there is a close up of Thodin in his walker as he smirks at some of them. At the top left corner of the screen, the green screen stage is visible. (00:33:55)
Continuity mistake: As the Holo Prosecutor begins to read off Thodin's charges, she is facing towards the right of screen and holding the paper in her left hand. A moment later in a wide angle shot of the stadium, her image has been flipped with her now facing to the left with the paper in her right hand. (00:33:50)
Continuity mistake: When Stanley is running down the hall and he and the Bug Bomb accidentally cross paths, he swats it out of the air. It hits the ground damaged with one leg breaking off and it lying on its side. A minute later when it boots back up and starts to get up, it's in a different position, with its other legs up in the air now and the broken one changing. Also the design of its head seems to change. (00:33:25 - 00:34:35)
Continuity mistake: When the Bug Bomb is crawling out of Thodin's nose, it's design and body shape is noticeably different than when seen in closes ups later while on electrical components searching for a signal, especially the head. Also going by scaling of the floor when Stanley swats it to the ground as well as when it's visible flying around Stanley's head, the size of it is bigger after it leaves Thodin's nose and would not have fit. (00:32:20 - 00:35:10)
Continuity mistake: When Thodin is set down in the stadium, the Holo Prosecutor appears as a hologram with dimensions. But in the shot when the screen appears with the trainer on it, the Holo Prosecutor is suddenly show to also be shown through a screen with her regular hologram gone, then moments later she is a hologram once more. (00:31:40 - 00:32:40)
Continuity mistake: As the stadium is shown before Thodin's walker is lowered into it, there is a panning shot showcasing the place. Then moments later from another aerial view the stadium's design is very different. Extra lights appear around the center, the layers of spectator sections doubles, and the general design of the center area changes a lot. (00:31:20 - 00:32:40)
Continuity mistake: Thodin's walker container is lowered down right into the center of the stage in stadium and is very visible with it's bright yellow color. But in some aerial shots like when the trainer is feeding the Cluster Lizards or the Holo Persecutor is listing out Thodin's crimes, it shows his walker as a much darker color and at the edge of the stage. (00:32:40)
Visible crew/equipment: When Stanley is running down a hall to get back to the correctional facility to turn himself in, he encounters the Bug Bomb that came out of Thodin's nose. As he is swatting at the Bug Bomb, a prop pole in the top right corner of the screen as someone is holding it off camera moving the Bug Bomb around connected by string to this pole. (00:33:25)
Revealing mistake: Stanley stops next to a window and contemplates if he should turn himself in and face a forced organ donation of 3, or face termination. In the close up shots, the green screening was poorly done as he has a red outline around his face and head. (00:33:05)
Continuity mistake: In the stadium as the trainer is throwing a brain to the Cluster Lizards, it shows the backs of some of the audience who are standing up, with one person holding up a toy spear or something of some kind. Then when the trainer throws his arms up to get the crowd riled up, it cuts to a frontal view of these same people in the audience who are sitting, and then stand up to cheer, with the person holding the toy only then raising it up. (00:32:50)
Continuity mistake: After the Bug Bomb flies down a hallway, it cuts back to the stadium and a screen appears next to the Holo Prosecutor showing the guy feeding the Cluster Lizards a brain. It shows him lowering a skull and tossing a brain out of it to the lizards. It cuts to the lizards for half a second then back to the guy and suddenly he's holding the skull up in the air showing it off, only then lowering it and pulling the brain out to throw. (00:32:40)
Continuity mistake: Thodin closes his eyes at his trial and the Bug Bomb crawls out of his nose while his mouth is partly open. One the Bug Bomb flies away, it cuts to a different angle and suddenly Thodin's eyes are open and his mouth shut. (00:32:20)
Continuity mistake: Thodin is brought and set down in Cobalt Stadium to have his public trial and execution, and is set down inside his bug-like walker. As it opens up, it reveals his arms are strapped to the insides and it opening forces him to spread his arms wide, with the walker opening very wide leaving him in a near sitting down T pose. He then looks around a moment at the Holo Prosecutor and the the camera cuts back to him. Suddenly the walker isn't opened nearly as wide, leaving his arms closer together. (00:31:50)
Continuity mistake: When Thodin is brought before the Holo Court in his scorpion like walker, a hook comes down and attaches itself to a latch on the top of the stinger of his walker, which hoists him away moments later. However in the CGI rendering of the walker as it approaches the Holo Court, this latch on top of its stinger is missing. (00:30:15)
Revealing mistake: When it's Xev's turn at the Holo Court, the memory machine plugs into her head and starts playing her memories of her arranged wedding. The machine is showing video of her memories through her eyes. However in the video when she punches her would be husband in the face, the side and part of the back of her head comes into view on screen. Which doesn't make sense unless she's able to see her own back of her head. (00:29:10)
Continuity mistake: Right after the first prisoner is gutted and has his organs harvested, the scene changes to Stanley heading towards the correctional facility to speak with the guard at the desk. He walks down the hall and is seen approaching the desk from the right, but in the next shot he's approaching the desk from the left, and the person that was walking next to the desk in the previous shot vanishes. (00:26:25)
Continuity mistake: During the first prisoner's trial at the Holo Court, a 790 Unit is operating the memory search machine to use as evidence against the criminal. He is shown standing next to it several times to operate the buttons, activate the switch, and control the memory video feed back. However, in one shot from the side view of the prisoner, the 790 Unit has vanished from next to the machine, but is back again moments later to hit the switch sending the prisoner on his way to his death. (00:23:55 - 00:24:40)
