Hawaii Five-0

Pono Kaulike - S5-E18

Character mistake: After being asked in class, Max refers to what he does as a "vivisection of a once-living organism", which in itself is a contradiction because vivisections are performed on living organisms. What Max does is called dissection, or more specifically autopsy, because he does it to determine the cause of death.

Ka 'i'o - S10-E7

Character mistake: McGarrett's team is in place for an assault. One of the members spots the "Rosita", a ship, not a person as they expected. But he calls it a Panamax ship, which it definitely is not. It is a smallish container ship, incapable of hauling 4,500 containers as a Panamax ship could. (00:23:57)

Hana Mao 'ole ka ua o Waianae - S9-E25

Character mistake: The bad guy escapes on a private jet, narrowly avoiding being run off the runway, and he breathes a sigh of relief, thinking he's got away with it. But anyone with half a brain would know full well that given the cops know the plane he's in and where he started from, it's no challenge at all to track him, and at an extreme scramble a fighter to escort him back / shoot him down.

Hana Mao 'ole ka ua o Waianae - S9-E25

Character mistake: An escaping criminal steals an airplane and proceeds to take off. Let's not even discuss how a non pilot with just flight simulator time and no instruction could even do such a thing, especially starting it by watching a computer. What would never happen is that when confronted with a group of police cars in his way trying to prevent his takeoff, only then does he proceed to advance to full power. All takeoffs are done with full power from the beginning, otherwise you run the risk of never taking off at all. (00:31:40)

I Helu Pu - S2-E16

Character mistake: Owing to a common misconception, several people in the episode claim that the consulate is Russian soil. Foreign diplomatic missions are awarded special privileges, but they are not considered sovereign territory of the represented state.

Ua Malo'o Ka Wai - S7-E21

Character mistake: In episode 6-6 Steve explains to Danny that a 'klick' means a kilometre, 0.62 of mile, to which Danny replies: "Oh, thank you, G.I. Jerk, for the pedantic, uh I know what a klick is." In this episode, when Steve again uses the term 'klick', Danny replies: "You know, no-one can understand you when you say stupid things like klicks.", which prompts Kono and Chin to give the exact same explanation as Steve did in season 6.

Ho'ohuli Na'au - S1-E22

Character mistake: Kono and a lab tech are stopping at several stations to sample their 87 Octane gas, yet at the third gas station he uses the middle pump that reads "Plus" which would be 89 octane - the wrong gas. (00:19:10)

Good Job!

Lehu a Lehu - S6-E2

Visible crew/equipment: Danny is supposed to be looking for the suspect in the woods by himself and you can see another person on the top right hand side of the frame. The crew member looks as if he knows he is in the way and slowly backs away. (00:35:15)

Ma lalo o ka 'ili - S4-E17

Question: Why did Tommy chase after Kelly with a loaded weapon in his hand towards the police after she ran from his car towards them? Common sense would have said that to do so meant the police would have no choice but to shoot to kill.
