Night Out in London - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: The timing throughout this episode is bizarre. The boys leave their town in broad daylight, but by the time they get to London, it's dark. As they leave, Will's VO says they were in the club for 25 minutes, and Simon then says it's 1am, so they would have entered the club at 12:30am. Earlier, Simon said they had spent an hour looking for a parking space, so they started searching at 11:30pm. So how could they take so long to drive into London that it was broad light when they left but 11:30pm by the time they arrived? Even if they were lost in London for several hours, it would have gotten dark while they were lost, not been dark when they already arrived. This is even stranger if you consider that in the books and backstory, the boys' school is in a London suburb.

Night Out in London - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: When Jay first shouts "Bus Wankers" from Simon's car, the people at the bus stop change between shots, as does the weather. On the first viewing of the stop as we approach it, there are five people around it and it is sunny. On the shot going past the stop there are now six people at the stop. Also the weather in the second shot is now overcast and sunless. Also in the next shot of the boys laughing to Jay's outburst, there is no sign of the bus stop they've just past but in the car's interior shots you can see the Bus Stop road markings through the rear window.

Night Out in London - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: During the infamous "bus wankers goes wrong" scene, in the shot as they're approaching the bus stop there is no traffic ahead of them at the lights, but after shouting 'bus wankers' there is suddenly stationary traffic in front.

Trivia: Although they play father and son in this series, Alex Macqueen is only eleven years older than Blake Harrison.

Bunk Off - S1-E2

Question: Why do the boys decide to steal their parent's booze? They have three bottles of spirits between four of them, which is more than enough for them to get drunk. In fact, in Will Is Home Alone, they share twenty cans of beer between the four of them (five each, all things being equal), and are dreadfully hungover the next morning. Assume this is classed as a character mistake, it just makes no sense.

Answer: Jay, Si and Will steal Simons dad booze as they are planning on meeting Carly later on and have lost their own supply when kicked out of Neil's place by his dad after being caught and insulted.
