Chuck Versus the Broken Heart - S2-E18
Corrected entry: Casey needs to get Devon's hospital keycard in order to get into the secure holding area to plant the listening device into the pacemaker before it's implanted into the terrorist. They obtain the key-card by stunning him at his bachelor party and see Casey using it to access the storage facility, backed up by Chuck and Agent Forrest. We then see the terrorists scanning their leader and detecting the implanted bug - Devon is listed as the surgeon. Immediately after this, we cut to Devon waking up from his bachelor party with his keycard missing. None of the three agents involved in planting the bug could possibly have handled the operation, no other agents are mentioned as being present and, as the break-in occurred during the daytime, the staff of the busy hospital would have noticed had an unknown surgical team suddenly taking over one of their operating theatres. So Devon apparently got into the hospital with no key and did the operation while completely unconscious.
Corrected entry: When Chuck sees the Intersect images for the first time, it takes hours for him to see them all (as the scene stretches from the end of the party to the next morning when his alarm beeps for work). Throughout the series, many other characters upload the intersect and yet for them it never takes more than about a minute to see all the images.
Correction: In the first episode Chuck is receiving the intersect as an email attachment on his computer. All other instances of an intersect being downloaded involve specialised devices, multiple screens, high-tech glasses or whole rooms or are updated forms of the intersect.
Chuck Versus the Sizzling Shrimp - S1-E5
Corrected entry: A title card at the beginning of the episode identifies the location as the Chinese Consulate in Chinatown, Los Angeles. The Chinese Consulate is at 443 Shatto Place, west of Downtown Los Angeles and even farther west of Chinatown.
Correction: Addresses and buildings are often substituted, and is a standard filmmaking convention, not a mistake.
Corrected entry: In several episodes (notably in Season 4 episode 13 - Chuck Vs. The Push Mix), General Beckman, the Director of National Intelligence, refers to "my superiors." First, the DNI reports directly to the President of the United States. Also, a Brigadier General would never be elevated to that position. Thus far, all of the DNIs have been civilians, but if a military officer were appointed (presuming this would be legal) it would certainly be a four-star General, who would likely immediately retire from the military and then be appointed to the position (David Petraeus taking the CIA Director appointment comes to mind).
Correction: Beckman is not the Director of National Intelligence. She works for the National Security Agency, within which she would have superiors.
Chuck Versus the Cliffhanger - S4-E24
Corrected entry: It is established that the Intersect must match the recipient's brain pattern to be able to upload safely. Yet it didn't kill Morgan when he wore the glasses meant for Chuck.
Correction: This version of the Intersect had a bug in it that would erase the host's memory, so even though they were intended for Chuck, it is still a faulty version of the Intersect, and if not removed in time, it very well could have killed Morgan. Remember, the Intersect evolves as the show goes on.
Corrected entry: When Chuck flashes on a Volkoff safehouse there are images of Vivian. However, Chuck's Intersect data was uploaded BEFORE Vivian took over Alexei's company.
Correction: There's no reason Vivian would have to be part of Volkoff Industries to have connections to the safehouse. Vivian Volkoff is Alexei Volkoff's daughter - her photo could be in that flash for absolutely any reason, regardless of the fact that she wasn't working with them at the time.
Corrected entry: In the first episode, we see Bryce Larkin "stealing" the intersect but failing when John Casey shoots him down. We later find out that an underground organization called Fulcrum has picked up his body so as to revive him and gain intel from him, etc. Later, after Bryce's "resurrection," when Bryce runs into Chuck and the crew, he explains that it was Fulcrum that wanted him to acquire the intersect for them. However, this isn't possible considering that they couldn't have sent him to gain the intersect because he didn't die until his attempt at it, and they didn't recover him until he died.
Correction: Prior to his attempt to "steal" the Intersect in the pilot, Bryce was contacted by Fulcrum. After he was contacted, he found out that they were trying to download & destroy the Intersect. So Bryce double-crossed Fulcrum by stealing it first and sending it to Chuck. Then Tommy (the agent we see in the flashback) revived him to find out what happened to the Intersect.
Correction: Obviously Devon was unconscious and did not show up to the surgery. There was no mystery surgical team. Hospitals have on-call or standby surgeons for emergencies or when the primary surgeon is delayed and the surgery is critical, as in this case. Because the substitution had just occurred, the patients' paper chart would probably not have been updated yet, so Devon was still listed as the surgeon and the killers went after him.
