Visible crew/equipment: When Station 51 is on the scene with the overturned truck carrying insecticide, that's causing toxic smoke, Captain Stanley asks dispatch to identify the toxicity of trimelanide, and three shots later a crew member walks onscreen from the left, right behind the overturned truck, then realizes his mistake and backs away.

That watch reappears again, disappears and reappears until they go back up to the apartment for the second time.
Visible crew/equipment: When Gage and DeSoto are on their first run (the mother-in-law), they phone Rampart's base station. When Dixie opens the door to answer the call, her mark (strip of black tape) is visible on the floor just as she steps on it.
Other mistake: When the dispatcher calls for Squad 51 about an unknown rescue, Roy almost closes the squad's hood on Johnny's head, and when Captain Stanley responds the usual KMG365 with the hand mic, we can see that the mic's cord is dangling down, not even plugged into the base.
Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny are in the backyard with the couple and the mother-in-law, after Johnny gets off the phone with Brackett, he has the black notebook in his left hand, but in the side shot it's in his right hand, then it returns to Johnny's left hand.

Continuity mistake: When Early is examining the boy who had the grand mal seizure in the waiting room, after using his penlight Early puts it back into his pocket just before he examines the boy's ears in the closeup, but in the wide shot that penlight is on the gurney and Dixie picks it up then puts it into her pocket. Yet in Early's closeups the penlight is still in his pocket, and in the wide shots it's gone.
Continuity mistake: When Early examines the boy who had a seizure in the waiting room, Early uses a tongue depressor and his penlight to check the boy's throat. During his examination, in the wide shot the penlight is in Early's right hand and the tongue depressor in his left, but in the closeup they've switched hands. Additionally, in that wide shot Dix is holding the otoscope with her right hand, but in the closeup her right hand in under the boy's head.

While Johnny and Roy are searching the rooms for the young girl, it cuts to a shot of guys from 9, and later there are also shots of 28's and 19's guys, even though none of their companies were called to this incident. These are shots from previous episodes including 3x7, "Promotion."
