The Night of the Lord of Limbo - S2-E15

Continuity mistake: The last scene of this episode shows the private train in twilight, but when Col. Falk walks in, the outside is pitch black. The last shot shows the moving train again in twilight, not in the dark of night. (00:46:55 - 00:48:05)

The Night of the Tottering Tontine - S2-E16

Continuity mistake: West demonstrates how the knife popped out of the chair upholstery when pressure was applied. His hand is inches from the blade in one shot, then disappears in the next close-up view. When it cuts back to the master shot, his hand is once again beside the knife. (00:20:20)

The Night of the Gypsy Peril - S2-E18

Continuity mistake: The final scene shows a government official entering the private car to take delivery of the sultan. The open door shows that it is pitch black outside, but the final shot of the private train departing shows a very blue sky. (00:48:05 - 00:49:05)

The Night of the Tartar - S2-E19

Revealing mistake: When West opens the wall safe in the personal train, there is no locking mechanism shown on the opened door. Without this, the door of the safe could just be opened without rotating the combination lock on the outside. (00:01:50)

The Night of the Tartar - S2-E19

Other mistake: As the coach is entering the courtyard, Count Sazanov and Anastasia are standing side-by-side. In the space between them, one can see by the gate's entrance, a car driving from right to left. (00:22:15)

The Night of the Vicious Valentine - S2-E20

Factual error: Artemus opens a cabinet to reveal a map of the United States where he and West are keeping track of the alphabetical murders. The map is far out of date for the Grant administration, with what became the state of West Virginia during the Civil War still part of Virginia, and missing entirely the states of Nevada, Oregon, Kansas, Nebraska, and Minnesota-all of which were part of the union before President Grant took office. The Night of the Vicious Valentine - S2-E20

Revealing mistake: The red-headed villain falls face first into the wedding cake. The front of his face is covered with cake and icing. West "punches" him on the face - but punches are not real - that is why West has no cake or icing on the fist that "punched" the face covered with cake and icing. (00:46:30)

The Night of the Brain - S2-E21

Continuity mistake: When Braine fires one of his mini-rockets at West, West falls at an angle in front of the bureau's left side. The next shot of the fallen West has him on the bureau's right side, perpendicular to it. (00:20:50)

The Night of the Brain - S2-E21

Revealing mistake: Mr. Braine fires a mini-rocket at Brendage, killing him. But a poor camera angle reveals the explosive charge going off in the wall more than two feet to Brendage's left. From the angle at which it was fired, the rocket couldn't possibly have hit him. (00:21:45)

The Night of the Brain - S2-E21

Continuity mistake: West is lying down while in hand shackles. When Voulee turns her back to him, he releases a gadget from under his sleeve by his right wrist. While the camera closes in and out of the device to free him, West's shirt sleeve by his wrist keeps appearing and disappearing. (00:38:35)

The Night of the Brain - S2-E21

Revealing mistake: Mr. Braine screams as his steam-powered chair crashes into the bandstand. If you look closely at the next shot, just before the explosion, you can see that the dummy now in the chair has its head bowed forward. It also has light brown hair, rather than Mr. Braine's silver hair. (00:47:10)

The Night of the Brain - S2-E21

Continuity mistake: The opening of the last scene is of the personal train car in the dark night with very little moonlight. The closing scene of this episode shows the train again amid the night sky which is a much lighter beautiful blue. (00:47:45 - 00:49:15)

Trivia: Due to the rigorous stunts he performed, actor Robert Conrad would often rip out the seat of his already too tight pants.
