Anonymous Was a Woman - S11-E4

Continuity mistake: In the scene when Tony and Gibbs are riding together and Tony is eating a sandwich, it starts about half gone, the angle changes and there is only a bite gone, the angle changes again and it is about half gone again.

Better Angels - S11-E7

Continuity mistake: When Tony is sitting at McGee's desk talking to Delilah, Tony's holding the phone to his left ear with his left hand, but in the overhead shot Tony's holding the phone to his right ear with his right hand. (00:15:50)

Twenty Klicks - S12-E1

Continuity mistake: In the final scene, Gibbs is working on his boat wearing safety glasses and has a pencil behind his right ear under the frame. When he learns Sergei has survived his pulls his glasses off in disbelief and the pencil is no longer behind his ear. After a cut away to the director and back to Gibbs again, the pencil has returned and remains there for the rest of the scene, including the black and white closing transition.

After Hours - S13-E17

Continuity mistake: During Delilah and Tim's dinner, when Delilah places corn on the cob onto Tim's plate note the positions of the broccoli and shrimp. In the following shots the broccoli and shrimp repeatedly switch to opposite positions. (00:13:45)

A Bowl of Cherries - S14-E20

Continuity mistake: After Marie's smoke alarm incident Marie starts to talk about Alex's dad coming to dinner, and when Alex walks away from the bouquet of flowers the ribbon has been removed from the bouquet, but next shot it's once again tied around the bouquet. (00:31:50)

Something Blue - S14-E23

Continuity mistake: When the helicopter lands on the helo deck there's a white aiming circle with a lineup line at the center, but after Gibbs and Palmer exit the helicopter the flight deck is again seen in a long shot, and the white lineup line is gone. (00:03:30)

Something Blue - S14-E23

Continuity mistake: When Gibbs and McGee are alone in the kitchen, in the closeups of McGee when he raises his left hand (such as when he takes the watch from Gibbs) he is not wearing a ring, but in the consecutive shots of the duo McGee is wearing a ring on his left hand (also odd, since it looks like McGee's wedding band). (00:39:10)

Something Blue - S14-E23

Continuity mistake: Gibbs holds up his father's WW2 era Hamilton watch and gives it to McGee. While McGee holds the watch to read the engraving on the caseback, the buckle strap is in McGee's right hand. In the closeup of the caseback the crown is at the bottom (which would mean the buckle strap is in McGee's left hand), but in the two shots facing McGee the crown is at the top (which would also make the engraving upside down while McGee reads it). (00:40:20)

1mm - S18-E6

Continuity mistake: While Bishop and Torres are locked in the two jail cells, Bishop knocks out the glass from her barred window, but when Torres breaks the old toilet and says, "I really think we're stuck in here," Bishop's cell window glass is perfectly intact - we can see the reflection of all the bars. Agent Afloat - S6-E2

Trivia: Season 6, "Agent Afloat": Maybe real aircraft carriers posing as fictional ones shouldn't let viewers see their registration numbers. When this episode aired, producers heard from several "carrier purists" complaining that CVN74 is the U.S.S. John C. Stennis, not the (non-existent) Seahawk.

Show generally

Question: I finally saw the 2-part episode from the show JAG. Does anyone know what happened to Viv Blackadder? I don't recall hearing anyone ever mention the name on NCIS.

Answer: I hadn't seen the backdoor pilots yet but while it wasn't explicitly stated, at least onscreen, I heard somewhere Vivian got either fired from NCIS due to jeopardizing a case, got resigned from the agency, or transferred to the FBI.

Raykvega423

Answer: I dont believe it is ever mentioned, but like most pilot episodes the characters are often changed, replaced or even removed in this case.
