Continuity mistake: At the beginning, there is a side shot of Alf on the phone that has Alf saying "Sammy...shalom" with his right hand on what appears to be a phone book. When the camera cuts to the front angle, not only is Alf's right hand all of a sudden on the phone cord, but the phone book has also changed positions. (00:00:20)

Continuity mistake: After Willie is arrested, he is talking to Kate while he is in the jail cell. Willie then begins to say "I don't know what happened. All I know is someone used my radio and now I'm a criminal and they're going to hang me" with the camera view being behind Kate with Willie's hands outside the jail cell bars. Then when the camera cuts to inside the cell, Willie's hands are not only inside the cell but Willie is further back away from the bars with his hands inside the cell, with no time to have made the move. Keepin' the Faith - S1-E5

Question: When Al is holding a stack of towels, the Tanners say that he is "carrying towels through the damp." What does that mean?

Answer: Mr Tanner actually asks Alf, "Why are you carrying our towels through the den?" The streaming subtitles are wrong when it substitutes "damp" for "den" twice. It's possible the error originated from the VHS or DVD, which occurs often.

Super Grover

Yes, I was re-watching episodes, and I heard "den" the next time. Thank you for answering, though.
