Continuity mistake: When the driver of the lorry is radioing for a situation check, you see the driver with a radio in his hand. When you see them drive by and hear him still asking, the driver of the lorry isn't holding a radio, but has both hands on the steering wheel.
Continuity mistake: Even after KITT's voice modulator changes to the three bars in the episode "Hearts of Stone," any shot of KITT starting himself up still shows the old voice modulator (a simple red square).
Michael Knight: I need ya buddy.
KITT: Right away Michael.
Trivia: Even though William Daniels provided the voice of "K.I.T.T.", he was uncredited throughout the whole series.

Answer: KITT didn't choose to go off the cliff in Goliath Returns, it just happened as he tried to avoid Goliath. Just 'cus it happened, doesn't mean It's gonna cure his fear of "flying"
