Visible crew/equipment: A boom mike shadow can be seen on the coat rail behind Mary when Cathy storms out of the cloak room.
Visible crew/equipment: In the final scene in the headmaster's office when Mr Mitchell says "I know its your decision headmaster" the microphone is in shot at the top of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: The boom mike shadow's visible on the changing room wall when Mr. Baxter says "who's gonna win?" and the boys reply "Grange Hill."
Visible crew/equipment: Camera lights are reflected in the side of the minibus and a boom mike is reflected in the window as the bus drives off after picking up the cricket team outside the annexe.
Continuity mistake: Before Justin strikes the winning ball the score according to the score board is 25 runs, but when the match is won and the boys rush from the bench the score on the board is now 20. Also the number of wickets has changed from 9 to 8.
Continuity mistake: In the dining room scene, when Tucker stands on the table the clock on the wall behind him reads just after 12.55pm, but when Justin and Andrew join him in a later shot it's just before 12.55pm.
Continuity mistake: The students action group (SAG) led by Jessica Samuels protests on the sports field during the cricket practice. Mr. Baxter tells them to move and they ignore him, Baxter then says "I've no intention of telling you twice" and they all walk off. The angle changes and Jessica is standing alone - all the kids that were standing around her have disappeared. Jessica was looking to her left as the kids walk off, then to her right at Baxter, then turns to her left to walk off. Another angle change and Jessica is looking to her left before turning to her left and walking off for a second time.
Visible crew/equipment: There's a boom mike shadow on Trisha's head when Mr. Mitchell separates her and Tucker.
Character mistake: Miss Summers tells Mr Sutcliffe that she has to check on some our third year friends meaning Jackie Heron, Brenda and Lucy. But these three girls are in fact fifth years.
Visible crew/equipment: The shadow of a boom mike can be seen on the wall behind Mr. Sutcliffe when he tells Tucker off for leaving his chips on the chair.
Continuity mistake: Tucker, Benny and Alan are chased out of Brookdale by five boys, but when they are in the street outside the school there are only four boys.
Continuity mistake: When Tucker is attacked by the Brookdale boys they pull his blazer off and one of them starts chalking B R O on the back, then the angle changes and "Brookdale no. 1" is written in full.
Visible crew/equipment: When Alan and Hughsie are playing chess you can see a boom mike shadow on the wall.
Visible crew/equipment: A boom mike shadow is across the desks when Mr. Mitchell is telling his form about the new disciplinary procedures.
Continuity mistake: When Tucker, Alan and Benny ambush the Brookdale boy, Alan is sitting on top of the Brookie pining him down. When the angle changes Alan is sitting beside the Brookie - he has not had time to move.
Continuity mistake: When Mr Styles is telling everyone the hostel's rules, Penny's head moves between angle changes from leaning over to her left, then upright, then leaning over to her right.
Continuity mistake: As Doyle is running for the coach he is carrying a brown bag as he boards the coach. Mr. Mitchell tells Doyle off for being late and Doyle's brown bag has disappeared, but he is carrying it again as he walks down the aisle to the back seat.
Continuity mistake: Michael Doyle is sitting on the back seat of the coach between Alan and Andrew, when he plays the prank on Penny Mr. Mitchell moves him to a front seat, but when the coach stops to let Justin off when he feels sick, Doyle is back between Alan and Andrew.
Continuity mistake: While they are lost in the forest, Penny and Suzi fall in a pond, soaking their clothes, but in following shots their clothes have dried really quickly.
Visible crew/equipment: When the exhibition is being set up in the hall there is a boom mike shadow on the wall when Mr Mitchell walks over to speak to Trisha and Cathy.
