Continuity mistake: Miss Peterson's first name changes three times, in 3-5 she is called Suzy, in 3-11 Mr. Hopwood calls her Wendy, and in 4-10 Mr. Sutcliffe calls her Val.

Continuity mistake: When Ann Wilson is asking Jackie Heron for directions, the position of Ann's hair changes between shots. When seen from her front Ann's hair is behind her ears, but when viewed from behind Ann's hair is covering her ears.

Continuity mistake: Early in this episode Mr Foster tells Tucker off after jumping on Alan and David while coming into the school, the people walking along the road outside the school disappear between shots.

Continuity mistake: As Mr Mitchell is driving through the school gates he has to brake sharply to avoid Benny Green who is playing football in the car park. Mitchell gets out to tell Benny off, the angle changes and the car has moved forward.

Episode #1.3 - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When Judy is walking past the shops, parked behind her is a pick up truck full of junk. In front of it is a grey Triumph 2000 estate and a white Citroen, but seconds later when Judy is ambushed by Jackie Heron's gang, the triumph and Citroen have gone, and there are milk floats parked in front of and behind the pick up truck.

Episode #1.8 - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: Doyle and Robo are in a locker while they are waiting for Miss Mather to leave the art room. After she has gone they go into the art room to steal the pistols, leaving the locker door open. After Doyle has stolen the pistols, he and Robo run past Tucker in the corridor and the locker door is shut.

Continuity mistake: At the start Benny chases Tucker out of the basement. When they reach the top of the stairs look at the four extras that walk past them: a blonde girl with a red duffel bag, a brown haired girl with a basket, a boy with a black sports bag and a boy with a black Adidas bag. When Benny and Tucker's chase reaches the corridor, the same four extras come out of the classroom on the left.

Continuity mistake: When Andrew and Justin are walking home a white car on the road behind them slows down to go through the width restriction and then disappears, as it does not drive past them when the angle changes, and there was nowhere else for it to go.

Episode #2.8 - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: Mr Mitchell and Carol are in the back seat of the police car looking for Trisha, and when they see her walking home alone they stop to pick her up. In the following scenes of the police car speeding through the streets you can see that Trisha is not in the car, only Carol and Mitchell are in the back seat, but when the police car stops to arrest the man who is following Cathy, Trisha is there again.

Continuity mistake: When Cathy calls out to Gary walking down the road outside the school there is a parked car next to him, but when the angle changes it has gone and a motorbike has appeared there.

Continuity mistake: When Carol meets Trisha at home time at the school's main entrance, behind them you can see two cars parked in front of the school - a black Humber facing the school and a red Vauxhall Victor. When the shot changes to Cathy standing outside the school's front gate you can see the red Victor has gone, the Humber is now parked in the same place but facing away from the school, and a white VW camper has appeared next to it.

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Mitchell is comforting Cathy after the police have arrested the man who was following her, a row of parked cars that were parked behind them have disappeared.

Episode #2.11 - S2-E11

Continuity mistake: Before Justin strikes the winning ball the score according to the score board is 25 runs, but when the match is won and the boys rush from the bench the score on the board is now 20. Also the number of wickets has changed from 9 to 8.

Continuity mistake: In the dining room scene, when Tucker stands on the table the clock on the wall behind him reads just after 12.55pm, but when Justin and Andrew join him in a later shot it's just before 12.55pm.

Continuity mistake: The students action group (SAG) led by Jessica Samuels protests on the sports field during the cricket practice. Mr. Baxter tells them to move and they ignore him, Baxter then says "I've no intention of telling you twice" and they all walk off. The angle changes and Jessica is standing alone - all the kids that were standing around her have disappeared. Jessica was looking to her left as the kids walk off, then to her right at Baxter, then turns to her left to walk off. Another angle change and Jessica is looking to her left before turning to her left and walking off for a second time.

Field Trip - S6-E6

Continuity mistake: When Roland plays his tape recorder on the coach, the woman on the tape says "lightest lemon sponge I've ever tasted - she used to bake, yes I remember, mind you she worked hard that woman..." But in the cafe Roland didn't start recording until she said "mind you she worked hard..."

Trivia: When Banksie, Jackie, Jean-Paul and Sarah first arrive at the disused factory to drive Phil's car, the scaffolding in the background is on the Eastenders set which was under construction when this series was being filmed. From 1984 until 2001 Grange Hill was made at the BBC Elstree studio's, where Eastenders has been filmed since 1985.
