Hi Diddle Riddle (1) - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: The Moldavian host calls attention on the national treasure before the cake is brought. In the wide shot, just before the cut you can spot the man in white uniform turning his head to his right. In the next shot he is turning towards his left. (00:01:05)

Hi Diddle Riddle (1) - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: The cake exploded and the ambassador is on the floor, his back to the tent. In the wide angle shots and in the close-up, the position is quite different; just look at the golden filigree draped over the tent. (00:01:30)

Hi Diddle Riddle (1) - S1-E1

Super Grover

Hi Diddle Riddle (1) - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When Robin parks the Batmobile while Batman heads into the disco, Robin raises the radar antenna on the hood to spin and provide a good signal. But in the shot from behind Robin, as he lifts the dash Batscope cover, the radar antenna is still in its original position and hasn't been raised, but the Batscope visuals are working perfectly. It happens again, when Robin watches on the Batscope as Batman begins to collapse from the spiked OJ, the radar antenna hasn't been raised at all. (00:16:50)

Super Grover

Hi Diddle Riddle (1) - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: In the cliffhanger, Riddler is putting a vice around Robin's head and cranks it; in the close-ups he turns the mechanism between his fingers, while in the shot from behind Robin's head he is turning a little handle. The height the vice is placed at is also different. (00:24:20)

Hi Diddle Riddle (1) - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: While the unconscious Robin is being carried away from the Batmobile by one of Riddler's thugs, his cape loosens and appears to completely fall off just before they exit the frame. In the next shot, Robin is still being carried away but his cape is securely back in place.

Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Riddler wakes Robin up, and the Boy Wonder does not waste time in his tongue lashing. During the scene, the lighting on set is very noticeably different; with the camera positioned between the two, Frank Gorshin's jaw casts a shadow; with the camera behind Burt Ward, it's him casting a big shadow on the green unitard. Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Molly is about to disguise herself as Robin. But the wig she's holding isn't even remotely the same color as Robin's hair. Of course, as soon as she puts it on and transforms herself, the wig darkens and becomes Robin's actual hair. (00:05:45)

Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Riddler sedates again Robin with the "B" spray. He puts his own mask back on, and on the table the spray can is turned with the letter facing away from the camera. Riddler takes a peek at the unconscious Robin, and in the next shot both sprays have their letters properly showing, only to be hidden again when the same camera angle as before is used again. Batman mistake picture

Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Just after the Joker tells the fake Robin to turn on her homing beacon, a quick shot of the Batmobile approaching shows it isn't glossy black with cherise red trim as normal, but is instead flat black with white trim. This footage was from pre-series testing, painting the car different ways to see how it would look best on film, but somehow this footage was actually used in the episode by mistake. (00:06:20)

Trivia: Originally, Batman villain Two-Face was going to appear in this show and was going to be portrayed by Clint Eastwood. Two-Face's backstory wouldn't have him as an attorney who had acid thrown in his face but instead have him as a news anchor who would have a stage light exploding resulting in his injuries and his transformation into a criminal.
