Pilot - S1-E1

Revealing mistake: When the guys are watching the game in Doug's bedroom, we see a shot of the TV. If you look closely you can see in the reflection that no-one is on the bed. (00:13:00)

Pilot - S1-E1

Revealing mistake: While Doug is driving the IPS truck he stops in traffic, and then Arthur pulls up alongside. Watch the reflection in the truck's side mirror, because we can see crew members pushing Arthur's car as he takes off. (00:19:10)

Richie's Song - S1-E4

Revealing mistake: When Carrie holds the paper towels, the kitchen's curtains over the sink are normal, the window is closed and the blinds are down. However, next shot the blinds are up, the double-hung window is oddly open outward sideways, and the curtain is pulled back with a large clamp. Then it's all back to the normal previous way.

Dog Days - S1-E14

Revealing mistake: Even after receiving the gift basket from the neighbors, the Heffernans are still awakened by their barking dog. When Carrie rushes downstairs Doug stops her at the front door, and the entire left window has been removed (for camera access) from its frame, so there's a large empty hole. (00:13:10)

Super Grover

Train Wreck - S1-E20

Revealing mistake: Shari from ISP radios Doug about the rush order pickup at 1202 Stratford, so Doug pulls over and soon Carrie pulls him to the back of the truck. Cut to exterior shot of the truck, and the street sign reads "Lafayette, Culver City" which reveals the California location. The truck is parked on Culver Blvd, corner of Lafayette, in front of the well known Washington Building (awnings are now black), which is located a few blocks up from Sony Pictures Studios where King of Queens was filmed. Hungry Man - S1-E21

Revealing mistake: When Deacon drops the suit off to Doug, Doug parks the truck up and Deacon gets in, however the outside of the truck is still moving as if Doug is driving. (00:07:50)

Art House - S1-E24

Revealing mistake: Carrie comes into the kitchen, visibly hot and sweaty, and says, "Could it be any hotter?" Doug also has a sweat stain on his back and they stick their heads in the freezer. Suddenly Arthur walks in and says, "Do I have the word pushover on my forehead?" Arthur is wearing a thick shirt tucked into long pants and yet is not sweaty. At his age he would be more visibly drained from the heat than both Carrie and Doug. This happens again later in the episode in the garage.

Suggested correction: And yet in summer, some retirement homes have heating on still as they feel the slightest bit of cold. That could simply be the case here.

Question: Does anyone know if Carrie and Doug had a baby on the show? And also was it just me, or was Carrie pregnant in real life in one season, and they did not write it into the show, or did she just gain a lot of weight?

Answer: To answer the question directly. Carrie and Doug do not have a biological child during the show's main run. In season 3 or 4 finale (cant remember which) Carrie has a miscarriage. Later on in the show they find out Carrie has 1 working ovary. Thus reducing the chance of them conceiving. By the final season, they couple agree to adopt from China and go to collect their child in the show's final episode. While on the flight back from China it's revealed that Carrie is once again pregnant. However the last scene of the show is a flash forward showing that Carrie goes full term with that child and they are struggling with both kids.

Answer: Leah Remini was not pregnant in real life at the time of the series finale in 2007. Her daughter was born in summer 2004 and it was obvious she gained weight and wore larger clothes during that season. So no, her real pregnancy was not written into the show.

Answer: They did have a baby in the series finale. They actually adopted a baby from China, and then at the same time they found out she was pregnant. She was pregnant in real life, but they just covered her up, as much as they could, during the filming of the show.
