Continuity mistake: When Arthur is listing the genres of the film, his legs go from on the floor to one raised and back between shots. (00:02:10)
Continuity mistake: When watching the film, Doug's legs goes from the table to the floor between shots. (00:03:10)
Continuity mistake: When talking to Doug in the back yard, Carries hands are changing position between instant cuts. In some shots they're together in her lap in others she's holding Doug. (00:04:00)
Continuity mistake: Ritchie asks if Doug is trying to get him drunk and has both hands out of his pockets. Camera cuts and one hand is now in his pocket. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: When Danny storms out he is not through the door - the camera changes and the door is closed and Danny is gone. (00:18:20)

Continuity mistake: While Doug is sitting on the corner armchair reading, Carrie's on the sofa holding her coffee mug and magazine, but when she tells Doug to join her on the sofa her coffee mug vanishes from her hand, and then it reappears. (00:01:00)
Visible crew/equipment: When Doug and his friends are moving the TV back downstairs, in the first shot just as Spence announces his finger is getting crushed, a camera operator with camera are visible on the left side of the screen. (00:12:45)
Continuity mistake: Arthur and Doug are sitting with beers in the basement. Arthur doesn't open his beer, but the sound of a bottle opening can be heard and suddenly his beer has foam all the way up to the top of the bottle. Arthur stands up and the bottle is still unopened. It cuts to Doug, then back to Arthur with no beer at all. Again it cuts to Doug, then back to Arthur, and he is holding the unopened beer again. (00:18:30)
Visible crew/equipment: After Arthur tells Doug he wants to move back in, Doug loses it and starts to rail, then as he shouts, "How about my kidneys, I have two," a piece of equipment is visible at the right side of the screen, before it moves back out of shot. (00:20:30)
Revealing mistake: Carrie comes into the kitchen, visibly hot and sweaty, and says, "Could it be any hotter?" Doug also has a sweat stain on his back and they stick their heads in the freezer. Suddenly Arthur walks in and says, "Do I have the word pushover on my forehead?" Arthur is wearing a thick shirt tucked into long pants and yet is not sweaty. At his age he would be more visibly drained from the heat than both Carrie and Doug. This happens again later in the episode in the garage.
