9 audio problems in season 1 - chronological order

(5 votes)

Trapped in the Sky - S1-E1

Audio problem: When Scott and Lady Penelope are communicating with each other via mobile control, the timing on the lip sync between the two characters during the split screen effect is completely out of place.

Sun Probe - S1-E11

Audio problem: When Jeff says "Scott, Alan, Tin-Tin" after hearing from the TV Reporter that all hope is fading for Thunderbird 3, the words don't match his lips.

Vault of Death - S1-E13

Audio problem: When Lovegrove realises that Lambert is still in the vault, he is talking with Carter, whose voice is initially that of Shane Rimmer but then changes to a completely different voice provided by David Graham.

The Mighty Atom - S1-E14

Audio problem: When the Reactor Station Guard catches The Hood taking pictures, he can already be heard blowing his whistle before he finishes saying "Hey, what are you doing?"

The Duchess Assignment - S1-E21

Audio problem: In the opening scene at the casino, the rogue croupier at the Duchess' table is voiced by Matt Zimmerman, but when the same croupier calls out "18 red", he has a completely different voice provided by Peter Dyneley.

Attack of the Alligators - S1-E23

Audio problem: When Culp is walking from his boat to the window outside the laboratory, some dialogue from Dr Orchard describing the theramine process can be heard in the background. When we are in the laboratory, Dr Orchard describes the process with the same dialogue soundtrack.

Path of Destruction - S2-E2

Plot hole: In order to build up suspense, Virgil and Brains stand on the Crab Logger as its dangerous fuel is pumped out, despite the fact that it is hanging on the edge of a precipice. In fact they could have left as soon as they had plumbed in the pipes to empty the fuel tanks - the whole procedure is controlled by Scott in Thunderbird 1 and they make absolutely no contribution to the operation at all. They do not need to disconnect the pipes; they are left behind and dropped from Thunderbird 1 as planned. They just stand there chatting about how much danger they are in until jumping clear at the very last second. Silly buggers.
