Timberly Loves Arnold / Eugene, Eugene! - S5-E22

Continuity mistake: Timberly Loves Arnold: Throughout the scene where Arnold, Lila and Timberly are at the lemonade stand, Lila is wearing her gold button on her shirt. When Timberly asks Lila if she wants to come to the baseball game, as Lila says, "I'm sure that I'd love to," she moves her hands, and for a brief moment, you can see that she is not wearing her gold button. Summer Love (a.k.a. Beach Story) - S5-E9

Continuity mistake: When Helga sprinkles bread crumbs around Arnold and Summer, six seagulls come and fly above them. In the next shot, the shadows of the seagulls are visible, but there are only two seagull shadows. Then when both look up at them, there are only five seagulls flying above them instead of six. Summer Love (a.k.a. Beach Story) - S5-E9

Continuity mistake: When Arnold talks to Helga after overhearing her, he tells her that he heard everything she said. As Helga says, "You did?", the lifeguard stand that was behind her suddenly isn't there. Then when Arnold and Summer walk away from her, they are suddenly a lot further away from the lifeguard stand than they were before. (00:11:47 - 00:12:12)

Helga's Masquerade / Mr. Green Runs - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: Helga's Masquerade: When Arnold compliments Lila's bows, she says, "In fact, I'm certain I wear them just, every old day." Ironically, her right bow disappears mid-shot, and it remains missing in the following shot. It comes back shortly after. (00:01:50)

Helga's Locket / Sid and Germs - S5-E7

Continuity mistake: When Sid decides to be a slob again, he picks up his frog and you can see that he has gloves on. When the following shot shows a close-up of the frog in Sid's hand, the hand holding the frog does not have gloves on.

Longest Monday / Eugene's Pet - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: In "Longest Monday" at one point in the episode, Arnold and Gerald run off of a bus and down an alley. Two fifth graders come chasing after them. In the next scene, you see Arnold and Gerald hiding in the sewer under the 5th graders. Arnold then crawls through a very narrow tube, and Gerald follows. You then see the end of the tube and Gerald come out of the it first, and Arnold climbs out last. It would be impossible for Arnold and Gerald to switch places inside the tube because it was way too narrow.

The Aptitude Test / Oskar Gets a Job - S3-E9

Suzie: I gave you 100 dollars two days ago.
Oskar: Suzie, you know I had to use it to pay the phone bill.
Suzie: Oskar, they cut off our phone service this morning.
Oskar: I know, it's a terrible mistake. We should sue.
Suzie: Oh, Oskar, that just doesn't make any sense.
Oskar: Tell me about it. So, can I have the 50 dollars?
Suzie: I don't have 50 dollars, we've already spent my paycheck this week.
Oskar: What about your overtime?
Suzie: I work 20 hours a week overtime already, how many more hours do you want me to work?
Oskar: How about 25?
Suzie: OSKAR!

The List/Haunted Train - S1-E8

Question: Why did that boy steal Arnold's ball? Was that the whole reason he came to the park? He seemed awfully obnoxious and destined to ruin Arnold's day, just wanting more clarity. Thank you.

Answer: The episode doesn't really elaborate on who the kid was and what his motives were, so its pure speculation as to why he took it. Perhaps the kid could simply want a ball all for himself and decided to just take it, or was simply a rotten kid. The truth is the kid's motives are not important to the story other than it highlights Arnold was having a lot of trouble getting through the list.
