Helga Blabs It All / Harold the Butcher - S3-E1

Continuity mistake: Harold the Butcher: At Mr. Green's meat store, there are at least two instances that the word "MEATS" is misspelled as "MAETS" on the store's aprons. When Mr. Green gives Arnold the package for Grandma, Green's apron changes to the misspelling. Then, when Harold returns to help Green with the crowd of customers, Harold's apron has the misspelling.

Continuity mistake: Harold the Butcher: After Mr. Green informs Harold that his week is up, Harold follows Mr. Green into the store, and the green front door remains open. Mr. Green explains that he's getting ready for the annual meat sale, and as Harold begs to keep working in the store, we can see in the background that the store's green front door has vanished. The open green front door is back when Harold exits the store. (00:19:05)

Downtown as Fruits / Eugene's Bike - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: In the Eugene's Bike episode, when Arnold has to tie his shoe, he sets his books down on a bike in a bike rack. This causes the bike to tip over and makes all the other bikes in the rack to fall down. Eugene's bike falls into the middle of the street and get ran over. When Eugene finds out his bike is destroyed, he looks at Arnold and yells. Right after this you get a good look at the bike rack. You'll notice there are no bikes in or around the bike rack.

Love and Cheese / Weighing Harold - S4-E7

Trivia: In 'Weighing Harold', when Arnold is in the comics store, there are comics in the background referencing other Nickelodeon shows, "Catdog" and "Spongebob Squarepants." The former had aired almost exactly a year before this episode did ('Catdog' premiered on 4/4/1998 and this episode on 4/7/1999). The later aired about a month after this episode.

Ransom / Ms. Perfect - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: In "Miss Perfect", Helga, Rhonda, Sheena, Phoebe, and Nadine are cooking up ways to make Lila's (the new girl) life miserable. In one shot, Rhonda is wearing her new blue outfit. When the scene cuts to the boys and Lila, and then back to the five girls, Rhonda is wearing her standard red sweater and black pants. For the rest of that day, she is back in her new outfit.

Runaway Float / Partners - S2-E20

Other mistake: Runaway Float: After Nick talks about redesigning the parade float, Bob asks the kids who wants to ride on the float. Arnold then tells them it's great the way it is, and when the kids start saying, "Me! Me!", there is an animation glitch where part of Robert's head and hands get stuck in the air for about a second. Back to School / Egg Story - S4-E8

Other mistake: Back to School: After Principal Wartz tells Phil he will find a classroom for him, it cuts to a shot inside Mr. Simmons' classroom. If you look at Sid in this shot, the lower half of his body is cut off. Phoebe's right foot is also layered over him. (00:03:58)

Question: Does anybody know what year this show takes place? I've noticed that there are all these present day video games, keyboards, etc. on the show, but all the cars are old fashioned.

Answer: The show is based in present day times. Plus most cars aren't old fashtioned, I recall seeing a limo and not to mention a cherry picker, etc.
