Helga's Masquerade / Mr. Green Runs - S5-E2
Other mistake: Mr. Green Runs: When Green tells Arnold he can't be himself and needs to come up with some fancy words, Arnold is wearing a "Vote Green" button. Then, just as Green says, "I gotta get outta here," Arnold's button now reads "Voet Green" with Vote misspelled.
Longest Monday / Eugene's Pet - S2-E4
Continuity mistake: In "Longest Monday" at one point in the episode, Arnold and Gerald run off of a bus and down an alley. Two fifth graders come chasing after them. In the next scene, you see Arnold and Gerald hiding in the sewer under the 5th graders. Arnold then crawls through a very narrow tube, and Gerald follows. You then see the end of the tube and Gerald come out of the it first, and Arnold climbs out last. It would be impossible for Arnold and Gerald to switch places inside the tube because it was way too narrow.
Dinner for Four / Phoebe Skips - S4-E5
Rhonda: She asked you to do WHAT to my Caprini cardigan?
Lila: Snip the tags out?
[Helga grabs Lila].
Helga: Lila, what are you doing? You're not supposed to ask her!
Lila: I just didn't feel right about destroying Rhonda's personal property... without getting her permission first. It seemed, well, ever so wrong.
Helga: Yeah, well, guess what? You're ever so FIRED!

Question: Does anybody know what year this show takes place? I've noticed that there are all these present day video games, keyboards, etc. on the show, but all the cars are old fashioned.

Answer: The show is based in present day times. Plus most cars aren't old fashtioned, I recall seeing a limo and not to mention a cherry picker, etc.
