Plot hole: In the lab when Liz makes the slides of her cheek cells and the cells from Max's pencil, the first time she doesn't add stain and the second time she does. If she's going to be a molecular biologist she really ought to learn to apply techniques consistently. (00:07:30)

Continuity mistake: At the restaurant where Max, Michael and Isabel are talking, Max is sitting at the end of the table. Isabel walks up with her food and sits down right next to him. The tables have bench seats, so she can't just sit down - she would have to step high over the bench or sit on the other end and slide next to him. (00:13:05)

Continuity mistake: When Max, Michael, and Isabel are at the taco stand discussing Max's saving of Liz's life, you can see Michael hand Max the bottle of Tabasco the three are sharing, and when the shot switches, Michael again has the bottle of Tabasco. (00:13:15)

Continuity mistake: After the car gets pulled over and the sheriff says, "You kids be careful out there," Max shifts from looking at the sheriff to looking straight down between shots. (00:17:00)
