Continuity mistake: In this episode you see Carol and Doug discussing Charlie over phoning and chart-reviewing. Carol is standing beside Doug. Suddenly somebody calls from behind the desk. It's Tommy, a "friend" of Charlie. When he's in the picture, you see Carol sitting in a chair, instead of standing. If she had moved to the chair, she must have done that SO fast, it's impossible.
Visible crew/equipment: When the son of the accident victims is being led through the trauma rooms to see his parents' bodies, you can see Laura Innes crouching under a table in the background directing the scene. Innes was the director of this episode and it was established that this episode took place on her character's day off. Therefore, she should not have appeared in front of the camera at all. Robert Romano: They're going to be looking for a sacrificial lamb, and I have to tell you, right now you're looking pretty wooly.
Trivia: Every episode has the patient list by the nurse's station. On the patient list, different names are mentioned, like Marguiles or Tierney. They put these names there as a spoof of the show.
Question: Does anybody know what the episode was called where that helicopter severed Romano's arm? I'm pretty sure it was season 8.
