Curb Your Enthusiasm

Show generally

Continuity mistake: In the 6th season episode, "The Freak Book", when Larry first gives John McEnroe the book, it's a hard cover book with a dust jacket. At The End of the episode when Larry and John get kicked out of the Staple's Center, the book has changed to softcover.

Ted and Mary - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode after Mary takes her shot at the bowling alley, the shot shows the scores on the screen. It shows Larry is in the 10th frame, with a strike on his first shot and a 7 on his second, with only a spare conversion of 3 pins left. Larry then says he needs a spare to win. When he goes up to shoot, there is a full rack of pins and he gets a strike, instead of shooting at the 3 pins that should have been left for a spare conversion. Also, when bowling on 1 lane as a group, you bowl 1 frame at a time. After Mary shoots, Larry should have had a full 10th frame without any shots. (00:00:20)

Ted and Mary - S1-E2

The Bracelet - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: This mistake really applies to two episodes in season 1. In The Bracelet, Larry is approached by a homeless man who thanks him for the Chicken L'Orange. As a result of this (and his unkempt appearance), the women at the jewelry store will not buzz him into the store. The mistake is that Larry doesn't give this man the Chicken L'Orange until the 7th episode, AAMCO. And it is not just that the episodes aired out of order. Because in the episodes between these two, there are references that show that this IS the correct order of this season. So this becomes a circular reference that can't possibly exist.

The Acupuncturist - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: When Larry and Jeff are at the restaurant and the waiter's arm catches fire from lighting the flambé dessert, Larry puts it out by pouring water on his arm. The wide shot shows the flambé dessert is no longer on fire. But on the next wide shot, the dessert is on fire again.

The Bowtie - S5-E2

Trivia: The AAMCO Guy, played by Mike Hagerty, asks Larry David if he gets paid when "Seinfeld" reruns are aired. Mike Hagerty was in an episode of "Seinfeld." He played Rudy, the guy that buys clothes from George and was going to buy the raincoats from Kramer and Morty Seinfeld.

The Smoking Jacket - S5-E6

Question: When Larry David goes to the Playboy mansion, everyone screams and runs away from him. Was there something I missed, like an inside joke or comment from an earlier show, to explain why? Or was something revealed later? Or is it just another case of strangers reacting oddly around Larry?
