Revealing mistake: When Ftumch hits Saunders, some of Ftumch's red make-up rubs off onto Saunders' face.

Revealing mistake: When Vivian punches the wall to stop the tap, the entire wall wobbles. (00:10:30)

Revealing mistake: Near the start, when Vyvyan sticks his hand through the wall to swear at Rick, you can see where the holes from previous takes have been papered and painted over.

Visible crew/equipment: When Rick talks to the Christian woman, there is one shot showing the stairs behind her. In the upper right corner of the screen you can see someone's legs as he walks out of sight. None of the characters should be there at that precise moment. (00:06:55)
Revealing mistake: When Neil points to the window after saying he hates sharks, Vyvyan says, "That's just the most completely brilliant thing I've ever seen," whilst sharks are swimming past the window. Just as Vyvyan finishes the line, there appears to be a visible cut on-screen shown around the window, where the sharks are swimming past, revealing the use of stock footage of sharks swimming that was digitally added over the window. Continuity mistake: When Rick closes the window after putting out the fire, there is a small fire behind his bed that hasn't been put out. Vyvyan then walks into the room and the fire behind his bed is suddenly out. Also, the bottom of the curtain next to the bed suddenly moves onto the windowsill in between the two shots. (00:20:27)
Revealing mistake: The neighbourhood outside Rick's window is flooded and completely covered in water. When he opens the window and water comes into the room, the water shown outside the window appears to be a dark blue colour. But once Rick closes the window, the water switches to a light teal colour midway through the shot, revealing that the water is a digital green screen effect. (00:20:24)
Revealing mistake: When Rick realises his bedroom is on fire, he opens a window to allow water from a flood to come into the room and put the fire out. When the fire dies out as it gets covered in water, a digital red cloud can be seen around the fire as it goes out, revealing that the fire was a digitally added effect. (00:20:23)

Visible crew/equipment: When the two female party guests walk over to the giant sandwich that has been modified into a chair, a boom mic can be seen at the top of the frame, dipping into shot. (00:12:23)
Visible crew/equipment: When the main characters realise the bomb has been set off, there is a shot with all four characters in the frame, and a loud ticking sound is heard. The boom mic can be seen at the top of the frame when this happens. (00:33:15)
Continuity mistake: When Rick says, "Suppose we should just have to cook our own supper," he lights a match and turns to face the oven. In the next shot, he is turned away from the oven just as the stove explodes. (00:10:55)

Revealing mistake: When Rik Mayall is in the middle of the doorway dancing to the Human League record, you can see him abruptly change his dance steps and deliberately move across to his left (our right) to give the two Police officers room to get past him to destroy the record player. He had his back to the front door the whole time and wouldn't have been able to see them come in.
Revealing mistake: When Neil is about to blow up the kettle, watch as he plugs it in. The power point moves a bit.
Interesting - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: Vyv has a beer when he enters the 'party', but when he starts doing exercises in a vain attempt to impress the girls, it's gone. He had no time to throw it away.
