Continuity mistake: When Sam and Endora are talking in the foyer, the glass-paneled door at the end of the hallway is closed. When Darrin is seen in the study moments later fighting to get the chair in the closet, the door can be seen against the wall in the hallway, as it would be in the open position. When Darrin stumbles out of the study a moment later, the door is closed again.
Other mistake: When Samantha and Clara "pop" into town searching for Ben, they appear on the sidewalk a few feet in front of others, who don't react to their sudden, magical, appearance.
Samantha for the Defense - S3-E14
Factual error: Benjamin Franklin is portrayed as a gentleman in this episode and the previous My Friend Ben episode. In this episode he dates Aunt Clara at the end. In reality, Benjamin Franklin was a cad, a womanizer and a playboy. He was a marvellous man - a genius - but treated women terribly refusing to marry his common law wife, abandoning her for years while he played with other women in Europe... and treated his daughter like a second class citizen.
Continuity mistake: It's understandable with Tabitha being so young, but when she is on the couch and doll is zapped next to her, the scene editing is very choppy. Tabitha scoots about 8 inches to the right (center of couch) and is turned. It's very noticeable when looking at the green couch pillow beside/behind Tabitha.
Continuity mistake: The front door in the episode is white with no window at the top. The door is normally green with a half moon, frosted, window at the top. At the end when Ho Ho comes with Pony then Larry and the client show up the porch is also flatter and different.
Continuity mistake: In the final scene, when Darrin flips up the picture of Endora, when the camera cuts back onto the frame, it's color.
Continuity mistake: The front door changes color and style from white to green then back to white at the end of the show when Larry is talking to Darrin.
The Trial and Error of Aunt Clara - S3-E21
Continuity mistake: When Samantha opens the door, you can see the 3 pictures by the door. The middle picture is straight. When the camera cuts to Samantha and Aunt Clara and returns to Larry at the door, the middle picture is crooked... a necessary plot point to distract Larry from the desk in the stair case.
The Trial and Error of Aunt Clara - S3-E21
Continuity mistake: When the coven is reading the case against Clara, the gavel is lying in the middle of Judge Bean's Bench. The camera cuts to Darrin then returns to the Coven, who is still reading their case against Clara. The gavel is suddenly on the wooden platform. There is no indication the gavel had been used as the coven is still reading their case against Clara.
Charlie Harper, Winner - S3-E25
Revealing mistake: When Endora "freezes" Daphne, you can see her breathing and rocking gently from side to side showing that she is not frozen.
Continuity mistake: In this episode, Darrin announces that he doesn't like cream in his coffee. In season 2, "The Joker is a Card," Darrin likes cream in his coffee, and Uncle Arthur zaps a cow into the living room.
Other mistake: In the opening scene, Endora disappears then reappears for Tabitha. If you watch closely, just before she reappears you can see the shadow of Agnes Morehead/Endora on the wall behind the couch quickly coming back to the couch for the camera cut to recapture her.
Bewitched, Bothered and Infuriated - S3-E31
Continuity mistake: When Aunt Clara gets her flare, Samantha's position changes quickly between camera shots.
Bewitched, Bothered and Infuriated - S3-E31
Continuity mistake: Louise's outfits change. She's wearing a yellow shirt outfit when she first arrives. It changes when Samantha sends her back. If she is sent back she should be wearing the same yellow outfit.
Nobody But a Frog Knows How to Live - S3-E32
Continuity mistake: When Ferguson comes to the Stevens house he appears wet (looks like his suit is made out of a shiny material). When Mrs. Kravitz come by, his suit is dry and different.
There's Gold in Them Thar Pills - S3-E33
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, when Dr. Bombay tells Endora that his practice is "limited to our own people". The scene is edited and is chopped. You can see the edit when watching Dr Bombay.
Answer: Larry had been telling Darrin what it means psychologically that Samantha gave the coat away. Larry said giving it away meant she's happy being married but if she liked the coat it means she desires to be single and carefree. So when Darrin sees the coat, he immediately thinks Samantha doesn't want to be married and the fact that she twitched it means (in his mind) she wants to be a single, carefree witch again.
