Alan dismisses that he works in a petrol station, and the teacher says "But I've just paid you for petrol and a packet of Minstrels." Actually he didn't, as Alan never swiped the card and the teacher left with free petrol and chocolate. (00:06:10)

Continuity mistake: After the air bag goes off, Alan asks why his didn't. As he says this he is holding onto the bottom of the steering wheel, but in the next shot his right arm is out straight on the edge of the window. (00:18:05)
