Family Ties - S1-E22
Visible crew/equipment: After Rygel's transport pod returns to Moya, as the docking bay door slides open, in the shot facing everyone while they have their weapons drawn we can see the bare floor. However, when Aeryn checks Crais for hidden weapons and then as D'Argo approaches him, there's a blue crash mat on the floor. Then it vanishes again.
Relativity - S3-E10
Visible crew/equipment: When Stark and Aeryn are back aboard Talyn with Xhalax, who is tied up, when Stark says, "As far as I can tell, Talyn's systems are almost back to normal," we can see the puppeteer's face (wearing a weird black mask) and hands under Rygel's hoverchair.
Visible crew/equipment: After D'Argo finds the Peacekeeper control panel and rips out the wire, he's thrown back and slides down a shaft. When he stops sliding we can see the safety cable behind him just before he finds the Peacekeeper shield, and then when he continues to slide down the shaft we can see the safety cable once again.
Visible crew/equipment: After John gets dressed in his cell Rygel points out John's cellmate, and when Aeryn removes her helmet we can see a nice reflection of the reflector screen, which is on the same side as the cell doors.
Visible crew/equipment: When Zhaan and Stark are at the bar, after Stark says, "That's just about the last of the DRDs. If Crichton's correct, they should give us some indication of where the signal's coming from," the boom mic dips into view at the top of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: After Chiana is hurt John goes after Durka in the hangar bay. When Durka fires at John he leaps to take cover, we can see the blue crash mat that John lands on.
Visible crew/equipment: During Moya's attempt to land on the planet's bog-filled surface, in the close-up of Rygel as he begs for somebody to help tie him down, we can see Rygel's puppeteer, who's wearing eyeglasses and a cap, behind Rygel.
Look at the Princess (3): The Maltese Crichton - S2-E13
Visible crew/equipment: While D'Argo is in the room he shares with Chiana, D'Argo sniffs the air then growls, and just before Scorpius says, "I have found Cargn," the boom mic dips into view above Scorpius.
Self-Inflicted Wounds (2): Wait for the Wheel - S3-E4
Visible crew/equipment: While Aeryn and John are running in the corridor separately, when Aeryn and John meet in the corridor, just as she yells, "No, blocked! Outer hull rupture! Long way!" a crew member can be seen crouching at the right side of the screen.
Back and Back and Back to the Future - S1-E3
Visible crew/equipment: After Matala's shuttle and the Scorvian cruiser are torn apart by the black hole, when it cuts to Rygel in the galley as he burps just before John walks in, we can see the puppeteer's right arm and hand (wearing a wedding ring) behind Rygel.
Visible crew/equipment: After Crais "humbly" accepts Talyn's offer of the Hand of Friendship, just as the metal tentacle rises up from below the floor before the neural transponder is embedded in Crais, we can see a crew member's hand holding the tentacle at the bottom of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: After D'Argo and Zhaan agree to be allies against Rygel, it cuts to Pilot's den and when Pilot tells Aeryn that he's in "nominal" pain, two puppeteer rods can be seen under Pilot's arm.
Thank God It's Friday... Again - S1-E6
Visible crew/equipment: After Aeryn extracts the worm from John's abdomen, when Rygel says, "If I were warmer, I would have an appropriately venomous reply. Be warned, I owe you one," he drops down off the table, and as Rygel waddles away the boom mic dips into view at the top right side of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: After Chiana and Jothee lie to Rygel about a pot that exploded which caused the mess, it cuts to the room where Scorpius and his men are holed up while looking at a hologram map of the clinic, and in the first shot facing Grunchlk and Kobrin the boom mic dips into view at the top of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: While the intellant virus is using John as a host, when John joins Hassan in the apothecary, just as Hassan says, "This is quite a collection of herbs and spices. Who uses them?" the boom mic dips into view at the top of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: During Kcrackic and Rygel's Tadek game, after Zhaan tells them they have nothing left to bet, when Rygel wagers Moya we can see three of the puppeteer's wire cables running up Rygel's sleeve.
Kansas (2) - S4-E12
Visible crew/equipment: After Scorpius tells Braca that the future of Peacekeeper survival depends on him, it cuts back to Earth and when the Sheriff says, "I got the warrant. Let's go search that house," as the car pulls away we can see a nice reflection of a crew member and the reflector screen.
Visible crew/equipment: After Zhaan has taken control of the Halosian ship, when Zhaan's transmission appears on Moya's clamshell viewer, in the shots facing Rygel, John, and Aeryn (in each others' bodies) we can see the puppeteer, who's wearing a headset, with his right arm up in Rygel's sleeve. Fun to watch.
Visible crew/equipment: After Meelak opens the door to Rygel's quarters and asks Crichton why he wants the Hynerian's help, Rygel betrays Chrichton and says, "I don't think the mind cleansing is working," and when John punches Rygel's face, in the close-up we can see the puppeteer's fingers beside Rygel, behind the table.
Visible crew/equipment: After John acts out what the word "shoot" means before he and Aeryn release the vorc, it cuts to the wiggly-eared vorc moving down a corridor while Aeryn and John follow behind him, and we can see a crew member's arm holding cables for the moving animatronic vorc, at the left side of the screen.
Chosen answer: It's never explained. John mentions a theory that his less technologically developed craft simply interferes with the wormhole less than the "superior" Vipers, but they never make a concrete determination on that point. But we also have to take into account the fact that Moya traverses wormholes with no ill effect as well.
