Robo Koopa - S1-E52
Continuity mistake: As the fight between Koopa and the Plumbinator begins, in one shot the camera zooms in to Koopa while under the Plumbinator's legs. Robo Koopa's color is light blue in this shot, when it is dark blue in the rest of the episode. (00:10:15)
Robo Koopa - S1-E52

Robo Koopa - S1-E52
Factual error: Koopa tries to kill the Mario brothers, Bunsun and Dr. Nerdnik by pushing an electric pole at them. Mario and Luigi use a nearby fire hydrant to protect them by having water rush out of it and keeping the pole from crushing them. There is no way a single blast of water can stop a large pole from falling, and the brothers would have been electrocuted as soon as the water hit the pole. (00:07:00)
Robo Koopa - S1-E52
Continuity mistake: When the Marios are hurting enemies and freeing Dr. Nerdnik, Mario kicks through a gate at the start of the scene in order to get inside. This gate disappears, once when Bunsun pushes the doctor through the hole, and twice at the end of the scene. (00:04:45 - 00:06:30)

Revealing mistake: When the crocodiles approach the tree, one of them is layered under a rock. (00:11:57)
Visible crew/equipment: In the live-action segment, several times when Mario and Luigi confront Mrs. Gammliss, the shadow of either a crew member or a piece of equipment is moving at the top of the screen. It is not Mario, Luigi, or the Ratagator's, as they are not moving, and it is not the passersby's, as the shadow is present even when they are not present. (00:17:38 - 00:18:45)
Revealing mistake: In the live-action segment, when the glass in Luigi's hand shatters from Mrs. Gammliss' singing, Luigi can be seen actually pressing the glass together to make it break instead. (00:17:59)
Revealing mistake: In the live-action segment, when Mario says that Luigi has been eating breakfast backwards, the screen is briefly frozen for a few frames, revealing that Luigi eating backwards is merely footage of him eating forwards played backwards. (00:18:55)
Revealing mistake: In the live-action segment, when the Super Plant chases Mario and Luigi, the actor's shoes can be seen. This also happens when the Super Plant heads over to Dr. Toby. (00:17:43 - 00:18:57)
Robo Koopa - S1-E52
Continuity mistake: When Robo Koopa destroys a building, the black border around his chestplate turns white, like the chestplate. This also occurs when he says that the Mario Bros. cannot help Princess Toadstool and Toad. (00:03:22 - 00:08:34)

Star Koopa - S1-E51
Continuity mistake: When Mario asks if his friends have their seatbelts on, Princess Toadstool's brooch changes from yellow with a blue centre to blue with a yellow centre. (00:12:01)
Answer: "Club Mario" was reruns of the original show repackaged with new live action segments. It was a cheap way to present the old animated episodes as a new show. Club Mario was incredibly unpopular and eventually reruns of the original show with the Captain Lou Albano segments were aired in its place.
