Continuity mistake: When King Koopa first appears, he has two Koopa Troopas with yellow underbellies. But when Princess Toadstool says that he tricked the Mario Bros, one of the Koopa Troopa's underbellies turns purple. (00:09:34)

Continuity mistake: When Mario and his friends look at Koopa Khan while on the bridge, Princess Toadstool does not have a cape. But when she and her friends fall after Koopa Khan destroys the bridge, one appears. (00:10:49)
Continuity mistake: Throughout the episode, the white spikes on King Koopa's tail are coloured orange instead.
Continuity mistake: Throughout its appearance, the grey sideskirts on Mario and his friends' car turn brown like the rest of the car several times. (00:03:44 - 00:09:06)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, when Koopa's state Troopa makes the Mario gang pull over, both vehicles stop in the middle of the road. From there on, the cars are at the side of the road. (00:13:55 - 00:16:25)
Continuity mistake: When Mario, Luigi and Toad say goodbye to the Princess, Toad is standing at the front of their car, Luigi in the middle, and Mario at the back. Two shots later, the order changes to Mario at the front, then Toad, and Luigi at the back of the car. (00:15:10)

Continuity mistake: When the Mario Bros. speed up their car to get to the rebel fort, in one shot both of Mario's hands are on the steering wheel, and in the next shot his right hand is on some sort of lever that makes the car go faster. Luigi's hands also change position in these shots. (00:17:45)
Continuity mistake: When Koopa sends Mouser to hunt down the Marios after finding out they've escaped, the binoculars that he was holding have disappeared. (00:17:55)
Continuity mistake: The Thunderbirdo is supposed to be pink. It is green when first visible after Koopa orders it up. It turns green again right before it explodes. (00:19:15 - 00:23:55)
Answer: "Club Mario" was reruns of the original show repackaged with new live action segments. It was a cheap way to present the old animated episodes as a new show. Club Mario was incredibly unpopular and eventually reruns of the original show with the Captain Lou Albano segments were aired in its place.
