CSI: Miami

From the Grave - S4-E1

Corrected entry: Right at the beginning of the funeral ceremony, we see the prisoner exit the police car and he asks the officer to remove his handcuffs to go pay his last respects, in which the officer replies that he cannot do that. Only a second or two later, the prisoner can now be seen walking toward the coffin (not knowing there was a shooter hiding inside) and he suddenly is no longer handcuffed.

Correction: He beats up the police officer and gets the key to undo his handcuffs.

Urban Hellraisers - S4-E9

Corrected entry: Wolfe was shot in the eye with a nail gun in the previous episode. Yet he has no wound or scars anywhere near his eye, not even in the extreme close up we get of his eyes. That's some fast healing, eh?

Correction: Not all episodes take place as soon as the previous one has finished. Sometimes there are little clues in the episodes as to how long the case has been taking, for example in the CSI episode about the Strip Strangler Sara tells Grissom that they've been after the killer for about a month.

Show generally

Factual error: Calleigh Duquesne frequently wears completely inappropriate clothing throughout the whole series. She often wears blouses that are so low cut that the neckline is below the lower curve of her breasts. No officer of the court in the US would be allowed to dress this way. There is no grey area here, and this is not a character mistake - first time a CSI turned up at work dressed like that, she'd be sent home to change. Second time, she'd be on suspension until she agreed to change her dress standards. Also (and this regularly happens in CSI: NY as well) she is regularly wearing high heels - also a certain no-no for as CSI. Incidentally, male CSIs have equally strict dress standards.

Answer: Earlier in the episode, Horatio tells Mac that Penrod was seen in Tribeca getting his leg set, only to bolt when he learned a nurse wised up the cops. Caine and the NYPD probably got Penrod's address from the hospital.
