Family Guy

The Juice Is Loose - S7-E9

Factual error: Joe's plan to trick OJ into confessing to the 1994 murders is moot since, having been acquitted, the double jeopardy provision would prevent him from being tried for the same crime twice, and as a cop, Joe would know that.

Suggested correction: The plan to get OJ to confess had nothing to do with getting the confession, so he could be arrested or tried again. And at this point, the civil trial already found OJ "responsible" for the murders. Since OJ has always maintained his innocence, getting a confession on tape would just be big news.

420 - S7-E12

Factual error: Brian is sitting on the couch smoking weed. Joe knocks on the door and Brian just waves the smoke from the air. Joe is there to give Brian a drug test and says nothing about smelling weed in the air. There's no possible way he didn't smell it! You can't just wave your hand and get rid of the smell.

420 - S7-E12

Factual error: In the park, Stewie and Brian are playing the "water pipes" like a xylophone. Trouble is, in order to get the tones they were playing, the glasses should have had different levels of water in them. If you look closely, all the glasses have the same level of water.

Big Man on Hippocampus - S8-E10

Factual error: Peter loses the last round on Family Feud. They got 199 points but needed 200 points to win $5000. Since they lost, they should've got $5 for every point which is $995. But they got nothing.

Into Fat Air - S11-E1

Factual error: There's no way for the Griffins to climb clear to the top of Mt Everest. It takes months to prepare for that and oxygen tanks. This episode is one whole factual error. That and it costs 30 grand or more per person.

Suggested correction: Please tell me that you are not a doctor! The two types of herpes viruses, HSV1 and HSV2 can be transmitted in blood as well as saliva. Such transmission is very rare as the virus deactivates rapidly in stored blood, but it is incorrect to say that it cannot happen.

Baking Bad - S13-E3

Factual error: Everyone donating blood in this episode is being hooked up to bags already full of blood. Peter donates yet the bag he's hooked up to is already full. Really hazardous.

Stewie, Chris & Brian's Excellent Adventure - S13-E7

Factual error: They all go back to 1912 in London. When Stewie gives a street performer money, Brian informs him that the person wasn't Charlie Chaplin but in fact, Adolf Hitler, and he was right. Back in 1912, Hitler was living in Vienna, Austria and was poor after failing to get into art school. He didn't actually leave the country until 1913 when he moved to Munich, Germany. (00:10:20)

Baby Not On Board - S7-E4

Plot hole: Stewie gets out of the car seat and goes back to bed, leaving the blanket at the bottom of the seat. When they get to New York, Lois goes to get him out and realises he's gone. But when they started the trip the blanket was covering the entire seat to make it look like Stewie was still in it. So who ever "covered" him up knew he wasn't in the seat before they set off. When You Wish Upon a Weinstein - S3-E22

Peter Griffin: You better watch who you're calling a child Lois. Because if I'm a child then you know what that makes you? A paedophile, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna stand here and be lectured by a pervert.

Business Guy - S8-E9

Question: In the episode, Peter threatens to fire Lois, and she responds with "you wouldn't" and Peter then replies with "Oh really, does the name Lacey Chabert mean anything to you?" which in turn makes Lois go wide eyed and reply with "OK, I'll behave" and Peter then goes on to add "Yes you will" Can anyone explain this joke if it is a joke to comprehend?

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
