Beast Wars: Transformers

Season 1 generally

Corrected entry: In Season 1 episode "Possession" Star Scream is around only because his spark remained intact after his destruction, saying his leader was Galvitron when in reality it was Megatron who was leader of the Decepticons. The creators of the show had to make up a leader, because they knew Megatron couldn't have been the leader of 2 separate generations.

Correction: During Transformers: The Movie, the original Megatron was reformatted into Galvatron. In fact, he was the one who killed Starscream.

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the first episode ("Beast Wars, Part One"), Waspinator has the ability to spit some kind of laser beam from his mouth as he fires on Cheetor. But for some reason he never uses it again for the rest of the series.

Correction: Those beams actually come from his eyes, and he does use them again in "Fallen Comrades" to open the locked stasis pod.

Trivia: The three Predacons who make up the Tripredacus Council are supposed to be Cicadacon, Ram Horn, and Sea Clamp, the three characters that combine to form the Beast Wars action figure Tripredacus. It was production company Mainframe's intention to make its show counterparts resemble its respective action figures, but there wasn't time to fully design them. This is also why the character designs look "simple" in comparison to other characters on the show.
