Everybody Loves Raymond

Standard Deviation - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: Ray offers to rub Debra's feet instead of doing another chore. He takes her black socks off and throws them on the floor, under the table. The socks can be seen for a few shots, in the same spot, after Robert comes in. At one point, however, one of Debra's black socks can be seen on the couch in the middle, and in the next shot, the sock has been removed.

Why Are We Here? - S1-E22

Continuity mistake: Flashing back to when Frank is first showing Ray and Debra their home, a dishwasher appears in the kitchen. The dishwasher is absent in the initial episodes, however, remaining so as late as episode 9.

Diamonds - S1-E16

Meant to Be - S5-E4

Continuity mistake: When Robert stops Marie from calling Amy, he removes the phone from her hand and places it on the table where it rolls out of place. In the next scene, the phone is placed back where Robert put it before.

Snow Day - S6-E14

Continuity mistake: In this episode, while Ray is telling Marie her faults, he has an almost empty glass. In the next shot, his glass has been topped-up slightly without him or anyone else doing so.

Ping Pong - S3-E13

Continuity mistake: During the scene with Ray and Frank playing Ping Pong, in shots showing Frank's face, his hair is pointing out, but shots from behind him show his hair is back down.

Pat's Secret - S9-E15

Continuity mistake: In the last scene where everybody is in Ray's living room, the strap on Georgia Engel's purse keeps changing positions from hanging from her left shoulder to across her chest. Finally, when both her hands are occupied trying to light a match, her purse slips from her shoulder to her bent elbow. In the next shot, her hands are still not free, but the purse strap is on her shoulder again.

The Wedding (2) - S2-E25

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the ceremony, Kevin is seen between Robert and Bernie and is all spiffy but when Debra is walking up the aisle with Warren, you see Kevin looking normal with a tux behind Lois and, then, a moment later, he is all spiffy again between Robert and Bernie.

The Disciplinarian - S7-E15

Continuity mistake: During his discipline fiasco Ray sends the twins, Michael and Geoffrey, to their beds at noon. Depending on the camera angle, one twin (who lies closest to the camera) has his head atop his pillow at the middle of the bed, and in other shots that pillow is much further back near the headboard and the boy's head lies on the blanket.

How They Met - S3-E26

Trivia: The flashback of this episode has several similarities to Ray Romano's real life. He was a futon delivery man before he was a comedian, he worked with his friend Claude, and he once walked into a customer's house to find her naked, mistaking her saying, "coming." for "Come in."

No Thanks - S4-E9

Question: Marie teaches Debra to make something called Canopys (I'm not even sure that's how you spell it). Can someone tell me what Canopys are and give me the correct spelling? I assume it's some sort of Italian appetizer or dish.

rstill

Chosen answer: A Canapé is a cracker or a small, thin piece of bread or toast spread with cheese, meat, or relish and served as an appetizer.
