Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the episode, Robert comes into the kitchen and shuts the door. As everyone is saying "I Love You" the door is closed, then when Robert hugs Ray it is open, then closed again. (00:16:00)

Continuity mistake: In the pilot, Ray and Debra's bedroom has no windows by the bedroom door, and the closet and bed are near it. In episode two, windows appear near the bedroom door, and the closet is on the opposite side of the room. (00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: Ray offers to rub Debra's feet instead of doing another chore. He takes her black socks off and throws them on the floor, under the table. The socks can be seen for a few shots, in the same spot, after Robert comes in. At one point, however, one of Debra's black socks can be seen on the couch in the middle, and in the next shot, the sock has been removed.

Continuity mistake: Flashing back to when Frank is first showing Ray and Debra their home, a dishwasher appears in the kitchen. The dishwasher is absent in the initial episodes, however, remaining so as late as episode 9.
