Continuity mistake: At the very end of Part 1, Homer changes position between shots, and when Flanders wants a huge castle, it suddenly changes back to his normal house. (00:08:30)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Homer decides he wants to stay with Lurlene, she locks the door about 3 times before going to kiss Homer, but when Homer leaves, he just opens the door, he doesn't unlock anything.
Continuity mistake: When the Repo Man takes Marge's ring, we see the ring on her left hand. It wasn't visible in the shot before. (00:14:40)
Lisa's Pony - S3-E8
Continuity mistake: When Homer tells the family where the horse will be kept, if you look in the background there are drapes on the wall. These drapes weren't visible when Marge and Homer walked in the kitchen.
Continuity mistake: When Bart arrives home after his bad day, he is seen wearing his lucky red hat. It was never visible anywhere before he got home. (00:07:10)
Continuity mistake: When the pile of newspapers fall on principal Skinner, two garbage cans appear out of nowhere beside the door. (00:19:10)
Continuity mistake: The photo Edna sends to Bart differs when he shows his parents. The angle is different from what it was previously, revealing part of a photo frame on the wall which wasn't there before, and the sheets/pillows on the bed are different, and her eyes are closed when they look at it, but when Bart looked at it, they were open. (00:09:05 - 00:18:25)
Continuity mistake: When Homer sulks on the couch, he has a pillow under his head, which is pink. In a closer shot, the pillow turns light blue, but in another shot, the cushion has turned pink again. (00:17:10)
Like Father, Like Klown - S3-E6
Continuity mistake: In Lovejoy's office, the clock on the wall keeps changing. (00:13:05)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when the bus is driving to the school, the streetlights outside disappear/reappear between shots. (00:01:30 - 00:02:20)
Continuity mistake: The letter Bart receives from Edna reads "94 Evergreen Terrace," however in other episodes they live at 742 Evergreen Terrace. (00:08:45)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when Homer and Marge are discussing the pregnancy test, the pattern on the bathroom walls, disappears and reappears, and in one shot, there's pattern on one side of the wall, but not on the other.
Continuity mistake: Bart's guitar is lefthanded. So when the righthanded Otto plays it on the bus, the guitar is flipped over, with the little speaker on the top. But when Otto is playing it later in the garage, it is a normal righthanded guitar, with the little speaker on the bottom.
Like Father, Like Klown - S3-E6
Continuity mistake: When Miss Pennycandy barges in on Krusty's 'Sex Chat,' she leaves the door open. It remains closed for the rest of the scene. (00:04:15)
Continuity mistake: While Homer is sleeping, his head is facing the 'Core temperature' indicater. When he wakes up, he is in a different position. (00:04:25)
Continuity mistake: When Bart finds out that Homer took the police badge out of the cereal box, it changes from brown to pink. The food inside the box also changes to pink. (00:01:10)
Continuity mistake: When Homer buys Ned's living room for $75, Bart is wearing a pink "Ned loves Maude" T-Shirt but by the end of the scene where Bart says "Hands off my china hutch." his shirt is the standard orange shirt. (00:14:40)
Continuity mistake: When Homer is making a note for Marge, he scribbles out Patty's name and writes his own. When he writes it, the "signature" is neat, but when Marge reads it, it's sloppy. (00:14:30)
Continuity mistake: When Homer is gambling with the gangsters, you can just barely see the shoulder of an ORANGE shirt that Bart is wearing, but in all other shots he is wearing his tuxedo. (00:12:10)
Continuity mistake: When Marge is talking to Lisa in her room about Band Practice, Lisa is reading comics, eating potato chips, and there is a drink by her as well. The drink container starts out green with a light purple label, then goes to being grey with a red label then as Marge tells her story, the colours of the drink change again twice. (00:10:00 - 00:10:55)
