The Unlucky Winner Is... - S6-E4
Visible crew/equipment: When Rodney is talking to Cassandra in the pub, the shadow of a crewmember/camera is visible on numerous occasions behind Rodney.
The Unlucky Winner Is... - S6-E4
Revealing mistake: After Rodney berates Del whilst he's in the bathroom of the hotel room he and Cassandra go out to the balcony and Cassandra goes to get him a drink, Del then goes out to join him. Whilst they're talking you can see Cassandra in the reflection of the balcony door waiting for her cue to come in to give Rodney his drink.
Revealing mistake: When Rodney is asking Del if he thinks the bathroom is haunted, you can see stage lights in his spoon. (00:10:20)
Continuity mistake: Near the start when Albert is plating up the takeaway, you see him beginning to remove the lid from the takeaway. In the next shot however, the lid is completely off. The change in shot is immediate and there is no way that Albert could have moved it in that time.
Continuity mistake: When Del puts the painkillers in his drink, it changes to a lighter colour. Yet when he picks it up off the TV a few minutes later, it is back to it's normal colour.
Visible crew/equipment: Just after the video recorder blows up, you can see the shadow of one of the cameras on the video recorder. It slowly moves out of the camera's view.
Revealing mistake: As Del is sitting down to watch his video, if you watch the video recorder, a false top superimposes over the real one.
The Jolly Boys' Outing - S6-E7
Continuity mistake: Raquel says that she doesn't have any family, except for an estranged brother. However, in the season 8 episode "Time is on our Hands", her parents coming to dinner is a central theme. (00:58:00 - 00:58:30)
Suggested correction: She didn't mean she literally didn't have any family left. During the 1996 specials, she spoke to them for the first time in years, so the lack of contact up until that point means spiritually she didn't have family.
The Jolly Boys' Outing - S6-E7
Continuity mistake: In 'The Unlucky Winner Is' (which is set before Rodney and Cassandra marry) Del changes Rodney's date of birth to 2nd November 1974 in order to make him appear 14, meaning this episode is set sometime between November 1988 and November 1989. However, in this episode, which takes place after Rodney and Cassandra have been married a whole year, a sign in the window of the coach (which can be seen just as the coach is leaving the police station) states that this episode takes place in 1989, and it is on a Bank Holiday weekend, thus can be no later than August 1989.
The Jolly Boys' Outing - S6-E7
Continuity mistake: When Del says to Rodney "Rodney, give me that ball!", while Rodney and his mates are playing football, Boycie is walking behind them. The next shot is Rodney and behind him is Boycie in the coach as if he has been sitting there all along.
The Jolly Boys' Outing - S6-E7
Continuity mistake: There is an ash tray behind Rodney and Albert's bed. In some shots it is there and in some shots it isn't.
The Jolly Boys' Outing - S6-E7
Visible crew/equipment: When the Trotters are in bed, look at the top left corner of the screen. A boom mic can be seen coming down and then going back up. Look carefully, its a dark scene.
The Jolly Boys' Outing - S6-E7
Continuity mistake: In the scene in the hotel whre Mickey, Jevon and Denzil are staying, at the end of one shot, Denzil is putting salt on to his dinner yet in the next shot, he has his knife and fork in his hands and is eating his dinner. Certainly no time to put the salt down and pick up his knife and fork.
The Jolly Boys' Outing - S6-E7
Plot hole: After discovering that there was a rail strike and that they had missed the last bus home, the 27-member coach party all go their separate ways to try and find accommodation for the night. Boycie, Mike and Alan head off together while Trigger is left behind on his own to decide on which direction he wishes to walk in to try and find his own digs. Later on that evening, Boycie, Mike and Trigger seemingly all arrive at the nightclub together. How come? Especially after Trigger informs Del and Rodney that the place where he is staying is different to where Boycie and Mike are staying.
Suggested correction: Maybe they bumped into each other in a pub or somewhere else along the way? It's not implausible for them to have met in a small town prior to arrival at the club.
Revealing mistake: When Albert is coming through the crowd of people that Del is talking to, to go and look out, look at the extra just to the right of Albert. He forgets he should be in role and stares straight at the camera for the whole time.
Continuity mistake: In the scene with Rodney on the balcony with Del about to join him, there's a big window behind them, and in the next shot it's smaller.
Continuity mistake: In the season 4 episode where grandad is buried, we see outside the flat and to the right of the door as you look from inside the flat is a wall. In this episode, Boycie runs out of the flat and goes to the right.
Continuity mistake: When Boycie is playing with his new satellite dish, Marlene comes into the garden with Tyler in a pram - watch the pram switch backwards and forwards as they are having a conversation.
Audio problem: When Del invites all his mates round to his flat after the reunion, they start to go through a number of photos. When Del shows them the photo of the school football team, Trigger says, "There's that Italian kid, good player, what was his name?" But if you look closely, Trigger's voice has been dubbed over. Instead, he says, "There's that Italian Prat."
Revealing mistake: When Slater asks if the baby will be named after him and Rodney gives his answer, camera shows Del and you can quite see David Jason doing his best not to burst into laughter because of Rodney's answer.
Suggested correction: After Rodney gives his answer, the camera cuts to Slater, and then back to Del. He isn't close to bursting into laughter. He only laughs when he and Rodney stare at each other after Slater has left the pub, which was certainly the original intention.
