Continuity mistake: When Del asks Rodney why Denzil lost his job, there is no sign of Denzil or anyone else behind Del. When Del turns round, the market is packed and Denzil has appeared from nowhere. (00:09:25)

Continuity mistake: In series 4 episode 2, we see Grandad's grave. The scenery is sparse, no trees or bushes. In this episode Del is at their mum's and points to Grandad's grave. There are now massive trees and bushes.
Revealing mistake: When Denzil thinks he's going mad seeing Del cross the road, look at the zebra crossing Del is walking on. It's just a bit of carpet rolled down on the ground. (00:49:48)
Continuity mistake: Rodney says that he picked up the money off the table when they were trying to escape from the police, yet if you look closely he never goes near it. And he never has another chance to pick it up.
Continuity mistake: When Sid is preparing Slater's food, keep an eye on Sid's cigarette. In one shot, it is normal length, but in the next, it is virtually gone.
Continuity mistake: When Rodney and Del are driving down the road and Rodney is talking, you see a side shot of the van and you will notice his lips aren't moving.
Plot hole: Rodney follows Denzil all the way to Hull. However, it's established that Rodney is a fair distance behind Denzil several miles at least. How is it that Rodney knows exactly where Denzil has gone? He doesn't know Denzil's destination as he says to Del "he must have a load to pick up".
Visible crew/equipment: Near the start, as Denzil drives away after seeing Del in a traffic jam, as you see the three-wheeled van, a boom mic can be seen reflected in the windscreen.
Continuity mistake: When all the gang are in the office near the end of the episode, Rodney goes from being by the side of Del, to being right behind him between shots.
Visible crew/equipment: Just before Del gives Rodney his cup of half full tea, when they are in the middle of the sea, a boom mic is visible at the top of the screen.
