Other mistake: The Chinese patient cut the strap of Klinger's red gown, but Radar says Klinger requests a replacement brassier. Later Klinger's red gown shows no damage, although he could have retied the strap.
Continuity mistake: The amount of alcohol in the bottle Hawkeye holds in the Swamp goes from full to half empty and back between cuts.
Revealing mistake: During the conversation between Potter and Klinger in the Mess tent, if you look past them you can see Margaret loitering, waiting for her cue to enter.

Continuity mistake: The water Klinger accidentally spits on Potter goes from a number of separate spots to one big spot in a couple of seconds.
April Fools - S8-E25
Continuity mistake: In Potter's office, after Potter gives his orders, and checks Hawkeye, his hand is up. A second later it's down.
Continuity mistake: After uncovering the motorcycle, there's only the tan chicken around. A moment later, Ralph has a brown chicken in his arm that wasn't there before.
Continuity mistake: As "Ralph" gets the chicken off the tarp covered motorcycle, he goes to pick up the egg with his left hand. After the close up, he does it with his right.
Visible crew/equipment: As Hawkeye, BJ, and "Ralph" come over to help the farmer, the shadow of the boom mic is on the ground at the bottom right side of the shot.

Factual error: In the beginning, you can see that there's a First Lieutenant bar on Margaret's left collar instead of the medical symbol Caduceus, like Charles has on.
Factual error: Radar finds a rabbi on board USS Essex, but the film shown of the Essex isn't...it's the USS Yorktown CV-10.

Other mistake: When the four nurses at the door sing, two are singing, two accompanying. The nurse on the right of the shot seems to have forgotten the words.
Continuity mistake: As Klinger waves his hands to get attention for his part, it can be seen they're empty. A second later, he has a bulb in his right hand.
Answer: The C-42 was a military variant of the Douglas DC-2. Very few C-42's were built, so it's questionable that Potter would specifically have seen that particular model, but, given his military background, it's not entirely unreasonable that he might use the military designation even when the aircraft in question is actually a civilian DC-2.
