The tray she is covering flies up in the air, and the snack food ends up on the footstool and the floor. There is also an empty basket in front of the footstool. Niles goes to the kitchen to get ice for her wrist; when he returns most of the snack food and the basket have disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When the gang are at Frasier's apartment for a brunch to get to know Mel, Roz is having a Bloody Mary. In one shot she lifts her glass right to her lips, but in the next shot she is lifting it up to her lips again.

It didn't fall from her bag: if you look closely you can see it was tossed into the frame from just outside the camera view, obviously to ensure that it would land at Frasier's feet for the comic effect of him kicking it back to her.

Continuity mistake: Mel and Niles are sitting on the couch at Frasier's. She is very upset and starts to open her purse for a hanky. In one shot she is fumbling with her purse and in the next the hanky is already in her hand - and not enough time to have done this naturally.

Continuity mistake: Early on in the show, Frasier and Martin are having breakfast and we can see an orange napkin in Marty's lap. While he is talking, the camera angle behind his shoulder shows his left hand against his cheek. Right after that the napkin appears on the table to the left - with no time for him to have moved his hand and put it there.

Continuity mistake: When Frasier is interviewing the stripper she is leaning on the bed, with her arm behind her. When Frasier asks her about her encore, suddenly her hands are in her lap, with no time natural change.

Continuity mistake: Frasier and Roz are in Cafe Nervosa and Roz is looking at a newspaper while Frasier talks about giving Donny a bachelor party. Roz puts the paper in her lap, but in the next shot over her shoulder we can see that she is still holding the paper up.
Answer: Nanny G (Nanette Guzman - played by Laurie Metcaf) has been a children's entertainer for twenty years, and tells Frasier, "Do you know what it's like to play the same character for 20 years?!" The joke is that Kelsey Grammer has been playing Frasier Crane since 1984, when the character first appeared on "Cheers", so Kelsey in real life has been doing just that!
