Continuity mistake: During the opening credits, Bebe and Roz are in Cafe Nervosa and Bebe is explaining a radio idea she has. As she says "all of Seattle will share", Roz is picking at her muffin, but in the next shot Roz has her hands on her stomach.
Continuity mistake: When Frasier is sitting on his couch, talking about his new agent, the white bag containing the video Niles brought over changes position on the table behind him.
Continuity mistake: When Frasier's new agent is at his apartment explaining how Frasier could take advantage of the crane incident, the remote on Marty's table rotates about 30 degrees, even though no one touches it.
Audio problem: At the end of the show, Niles picks up the bottle of booze from his father's chairside table, and we hear a thud - as though he had put it down, rather than picked it up. The same sound is repeated a short time later, when he does put the bottle down.
Continuity mistake: In one of the sequences where Niles and Shenkman are running in and out of the bedroom, Shenkman sprays perfume around the bed. The roses that were on the pillow have now completely disappeared and never reappear although neither Niles nor Shenkman touched them.
Continuity mistake: When Niles leaves the bedroom where he thinks he will meet Maris, her lover Shenkman comes in and notices the two roses crossed on the pillow. Once he crosses over to the bed, though, the roses have noticeably changed position.
Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the show, Frasier gets a cup and saucer for Niles and pours him just a tiny bit of tea. But when we see the cup again, it's about 3/4 full.
Continuity mistake: While Frasier is on the phone to Mrs. Crawley, the shot goes to Daphne on the courch a couple of times, and the book and decorative item on the coffee table change position from shot to shot.
Continuity mistake: While Niles is confronting Dr. Shenkman we can see a rose petal on the smooth bedspread behind them. Another shot shows the petal is gone and the bedcover is dishevelled.
Continuity mistake: At the very end of the show, when Frasier, Niles and Martin are on the balcony, all three have their hands and arms folded in front of them, leaning on the railing. The shot then goes to behind them, and Frasier is standing with his arms straight out, and only his hands on the railing.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the show Frasier, Niles and their dad are having drinks and Niles goes to top off Marty's shot glass - but just as he pours the drink, Martin pulls it away. In real life the drink would have ended up on the floor, but the scene continues as Niles keeps pouring into the glass.
Continuity mistake: Frasier is serving tea to Niles in the first scene and sometimes the tray is sitting straight on the corner and sometimes it is askew. The teapot changes position on the tray as well.
Continuity mistake: When Frasier, Marty, and Niles are having drinks at the end of the show, Frasier says "I think we have a 3-way tie" and we see Marty holding his drink in his left hand - the shot then switches and it's suddenly in his right hand, with no time for a natural change.
Continuity mistake: When Niles is in his office telling Frasier about Shenkman and Maris, a crumpled tissue moves around to different spots on the desk from shot to shot, although no one touches it.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the show, when Frasier and Niles are having drinks, in a close shot of Frasier we see Niles' hand and drink come up to chin level but in the next shot his hand is still at waist level.
Continuity mistake: Frasier is holding a bottle of bubbly during the scene when he, Niles, Daphne, Annie and Guy are in Niles's bedroom. As he walks to the door, he is holding it towards the bottom but when the shot changes he is suddenly holding it around the neck.
Continuity mistake: Early in the show, Frasier, Niles, Daphne and Martin are talking about going to The Ski Lodge. Daphne is holding a laundry basket - the laundry items under her elbow change during the scene.
Continuity mistake: When Lilith arrives at Frasier's, she is moving her hands, rearranging her wrap and her purse is in her left hand. Without time for her to change it, in the next shot her purse is in her right hand.
Continuity mistake: When Lilith and Frasier are in the hotel room, Frasier's shoes are on the floor by the chair, neatly arranged. When he says "that's very impressive, Dr. Sternin" and walks away, the shoes are not in the same position anymore.
Continuity mistake: Quite late in the show, Nikos and Frasier are sitting down talking. Behind Nikos someone picks up a glass of wine which is next to a bottle. The next shot shows a plate there as well, even though no one put one down. It disappears a couple of shots later - again, no one went near it.
Answer: In the last episode, they explained that Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs is a metaphor for the mixed-up people to whom Frasier dispenses his radio psychiatric advice.
