Continuity mistake: Bulldog is in the booth getting ready to start his show. In one shot he blows his horn and then puts it to the right on the console. In the next shot it is in his left hand, and then, presto, next shot it's back on the right console.
Continuity mistake: When Frasier is in his booth with Bulldog lecturing him about his phony hero status, Bulldog is eating a cookie that goes from being semi-circular to having a large round bite out of it and then back to being semi-circular again.
Continuity mistake: Frasier is recounting what happened in Cafe Nervosa and we see the flashback - he is explaining why Bulldog is not a hero. In the flashback, we see Bulldog grab hold of Roz and he throws his coffee supposedly towards the gunman. However, the shot shows the cup rolling back towards where Bulldog was standing. In the next shot, we see the coffee cup again, hurtling towards the gunman, and spilling coffee on him.
Continuity mistake: When Bulldog wheels his things into the booth, there is nothing on top of the tape deck behind and to our left of Frasier's chair. As the shot changes and he says "you can vouch for that, Myrna", there is suddenly a blue cassette on top of the deck. The shot changes again and Roz puts her plate of cookies down on top of the tape deck - the cassette has disappeared.
Visible crew/equipment: When Frasier is getting ready to leave his booth while Bulldog starts his show, through the door on the left we can see a fairly thick white cable suspended in the air. It is visible for a couple of shots, but when Frasier opens the door to leave, it is gone.
Continuity mistake: When Frasier is hosting the Sea-Bee awards and the others are sitting at a table, there is a bucket with a bottle of champagne in front of Roz. It changes position from shot to shot, from being upright to leaning right over to the left.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the show, when Bulldog throws a cup of coffee in the direction of teh armed man, the cup rolls to the floor, but when the shot shows Bulldog getting up from the floor, the cup is lying on the edge of the counter.
Answer: It equals the record of James Arness of "Gunsmoke" for the actor who's played the same part on TV NOT in a soap opera. If you include soaps there are two main contenders - William Roache, who's been playing Ken Barlow in "Coronation Street" in the UK since 1960. Don Hastings has been playing Robert Hughes in US soap "As the World Turns" since 1960 as well.
